Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Recommended Posts

Must be allowing season ticket holders/members to buy more than just their own ticket as I've just bought 2 in my name.

Edit: For the Sela Cup game against Athletico Madrid.

Should also apply for general sale.

You can buy the maximum allocation and don't need to allocate them.

You just have to annoy everyone behind you at the turnstile whilst you scan in everyone.

Aye, I seem to remember having to do that a couple of years ago for one of the Sela cup games. I felt under pressure and hated by everyone.

Looks like the Lower bowl sold out now and Level 7 in the Milburn starting to sell so best part of 40,000 already sold and the match isn't for another 2 months. Big increase on last years Sela Cup match where the crowd was just under 34,000.

Probably down to a few reasons but mainly the opposition and the increasing difficulty in getting tickets for games at SJP has meant that 1000s who've barely had a look in last season have jumped in early to guarantee themselves a ticket.

And the fact it's only 1 game on the Saturday rather than 2 games, 1 Friday and 1 Saturday.
