Don’t think I’ll play this year, football is more enjoyable without it

I find I'm more invested in it, especially if I'm in a close league.

Would love a few different features like max number of captaincies a season or something.

Players I've got in mind this year.....

- Maddison (particularly if Kane stays)

- Havertz

- Fernandes

- Villa defenders x 2 (with 1 probably being Cash as he should be guaranteed to start with the CB situation unclear).

- Reece James (should shine under Poch)

Who's on your radars?

Erling, Pickford, Fernandes, Paqueta are my absolute locks for game week 1.

Fancy Nkunku too.

I was thinking about Nkunku too/

Erling is a given for everyone. Might as well make it 10 a side and just lock him in every team all season.

BTW, how come Pickford? You don't fancy Fulham to score on the opening day there?

Tricky tbh, Liverpool will come back stronger next year but they're becoming a bit like Man City with rotation of the front 3 at least. Don't want to spend 12m or whatever on Salah.

Going to avoid Newcastle assets til about GW5 or 6 then get some in.

So yeah, I'm on Haaland

He's 4.5m in a Dyche team, hes going to get a lot of easy saves and bonus IMO, then the odd clean sheet. I dont like expensive keepers.

Yep - Liverpool have to be on the 'watch and learn' list I reckon and agree on Salah.

I'm also avoiding NUFC assets early doors too.

I'm trying to squeeze in plenty of Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City given their respective starts...

Has the £4.5m been confirmed?

When does the game actually open up for us to start tinkering?

Yep. Slow price reveal this week. Then probably Thursday or next Monday I would think.

Never scores though so relies a lot on clean sheets.

Don't mind this at 4.5m for someone can be benched in harder games. Just start him in the 'easier' games.

Am doing it differently this year. Can't be spending so much time on it (every year I say I won't spend time on it, but I get sucked back in). So this year I'm O United.

All my players end in O. I have zerO toon players though unless we sign someone in the next two months who qualifies.

Thought about an alphabet soup team in which you can't have players who start with same letter etc. But that was a bit too easy.
