The wording isn’t particularly helpful. When they say ‘resale’, they mean from when a ST holder can opt to put their ticket up for sale.

The ‘general sale’ is probably what most on here would class as ‘resale’ i.e where Members can buy a ticket that has been put up for sale.

Probably for the first time ever I’m going to slightly disagree with you

Club definitely using the correct terminology 😆 I dare say they should call General sale Members sale if they don’t already (?). Resale though seems clear to me it’s other people reselling their tickets.

What exactly is season ticket holder resale? Is that to enable ST holders first dabs at spare tickets?

Expand

No, it’s the date from which ST holders are allowed to put their ticket up for sale if they aren’t going to attend. But no-one is allowed to actually buy it until the ‘General Sale’ opens.

Whether they’re using the wrong terminology or we are on here, there’s definitely a difference in what how the word ‘resale’ is viewed.

The club view it as the point at which you can put a ST seat up for sale for a particular game.

We (using the royal we) on here view it as the period from which Members are allowed to buy any available tickets if they’ve not been successful in the ballot.

edit - actually have I misunderstood slightly? If I were to put my ticket for Leicester up for sale now, can someone buy it immediately or do they have to wait until Monday morning?

Obviously it's just a minor inconvenience but didn't they agree to start adding a link to the match ballots from the home tickets page? Looks like they've given up on that in just a matter of weeks.

Not that it was particularly noticeable anyway, just the words 'click here' in the exact same font size/colour as the rest of the writing so it took ages for me to realise it.

That's called a CTA (call to action) button, and it really shouldn't take much effort to add it.

I may be in Newcastle for the LC game, I'm not sure yet. I dont want to base my plans on just that game but whats the chances I can snag tickets for the LC game last minute, and I guess I need a membership?

Wouldn’t necessarily need a membership. A members number or even just an email address might suffice depending on how you plan to source your tickets.
