Yes, but wasn't sure who to @ to get the wheels going?

All I would say about going public via social media is be prepared for some negative responses.

The majority of people will be supportive, going off the facts you’ve stated here, but you’re also going to get ‘you knew what the rules were, no sympathy’ (and probably worse).

Not saying you should let that stop you from doing it if you think it’s the right thing, but just be wary not to end up wasting your time becoming embroiled in pointless online arguments with inconsequential people.

Since had a response from NUFC Trust who are in firm agreement with the stance taken by the club being too firm.

Formal complaint lodged via email and stage 2 of their complaints procedure, with board members at the trust cc'd in and giving their backing to us.

Let's hope it gets a resolution.

Thought that first sentence was going the complete opposite direction at first.

Glad you've got some back up and hope they see sense.

You might want to read this just out today. Quite a bit on Home & Away ticket issues and punishments. Wouldn’t get your hopes up too high.

Always seemed a fair estimate that your chances are about half of what they were last season.

A 1 in 5 chance, for example, can lead to very long losing streaks.

As much as it allows me to go to every game, it wasn’t fair to bring general sale back.

I guess the justification was listening to the fans who wanted it, but it’s clearly unfair.

Not that absolute fairness is the only criteria I guess. You might want to allow some advantage to the people who are prepared to put effort into the general sale.

Ultimately demand is outstripping supply to such a degree that they’re pretty much in a position where they can’t win whatever they do.

Not to say they shouldn’t keep taking feedback, and continue to look to tweak things based on that, but it’s never going to be enough.

It’s not fair to let thousands of miserable old codgers cling on to season tickets because they’d prefer to boo & hiss at Sean Longstaff than go shopping with their wives

Moral of the story: life’s not fair
