He's on probably less than half what he would be for a player at his level at one of those clubs.

But, that gives us some hefty negotiating power with him. We could insist he sees out the three remaining years of his contract, which would mean him losing out on £20m+ in wages. And if he downed tools that would potentially affect his ability to earn that much in future.

We actually hold far more cards than is being made out in this, if we want to insist he stays.

This is the sort of boardroom thinking that is probably taking place. It will be a level above most of the hysteria we see from fans on social media.

He's barely in the top 100 earners in the league based on these numbers ffs.

So fuck. He's incredibly wealthy for playing football man. When did so many people from a relatively poor city like ours think it's okay to throw money at an already rich, greedy baby. "I want what he gets wha, wha, wha". It's fkn nauseating man and the cunt needs to be chased. I've absolutely loved watching Isak but his guard has slipped to show he's just another spoilt bairn. Get him to fuck and quickly so we can move on and forget about the twat.

He's paid less than more successful players that have made moves to richer clubs. That's fair enough, it's just unlucky for him that he signed a 6-year deal at Newcastle. He didn't have to.

I don't begrudge him a new deal but it would always have to be something that is affordable for the club. Otherwise it's regrettable for his bank balance but not a crime and not something that justifies being a dick.

In the context of professional athletes he is. Should be on double at minimum.

Maybe and I've already said I must be in a club of 1 but it turns my stomach I'm afraid. It's just soooo greedy. Hate it. It's definitely what will turn me away from football.

Does a relatively poor city like Newcastle even need a football club? We could just fold it and give the money to the poor.

There's a compromise here which we'll eventually settle on IMO.

Give him a hefty pay rise with a release clause of £150m in a year's time. Both parties win.

He's not badly underpaid though. And certainly hasn't had close to the career of those players. I get that players can get those sums but it's fkn hideous to me. In a city like ours no footballer should get £300,000 a week. It's obscene. I do know I'm in a club of 1 mind.

That's between 6 and 7 million a year. It's certainly greedy to want more, but not unreasonable when pretty much every other player would want the same thing.

But they are truly exceptional at what they do, there are approximately 4m men between 20 and 30 in England and around 260 English premier league players. So just to become a bog standard PL players, you're talking being 0.0065% of the population. They get paid what they do because of supply and demand, and for me it's less obscene than what business owners and CEO's earn off the back of other people's work.

You know what, let's not. Let's not bend over and be butt-fucked by him and Liverpool. Sell him now and sell as high as possible. He did great for us but it's time to move on. There's a squad of players desperate to play for us. Let's give them our time and not this prick.

Your plan sounds more like bending over and getting butt-fucked to me tbh.

I don't disagree but what's the point in the comparison?

Well you're wrong.

Selling now because Liverpool are lowballing us and trying to pressure us into selling for less than he's worth?

How is that not getting butt-fucked?

How about telling them fuck off, he's not for sale at ANY price?

We are now negotiating from a position of weakness thanks to this dickhead.

Out of spite alone, I wouldn’t give him the Anfield move.

Hey Alex, please voice your concerns over our (lack) of transfer activity within the dressing room, mate. Oh, you didn't bother to show up to Singapore or Korea?

Ever look inward Alex? You've missed a fuck load of matches, you are offside a lot which funny enough could have led to us finishing higher, but thats not the point, thanks to Murph and the lads you experienced the best season of your career and you didn't even bother to show up to the tour?

He signed a 6 year deal on agreed terms, what would happen if he turned to shite & was notching 6-10 goals a season, would he have asked the club to drop his wages ?

A contract is a contract & yes he's improved as Eddy knew he would but he didn't improve by himself, he improved as part of the clubs structure & man management by Eddy

Bloody annoying hes prepared to derail at the minimum the early part of our season if not the whole of it because he wants more than he could ever spend

Honestly

Where did I say sell for less than he's worth? Do you want him to stay but be fkn miserable because the little Prince couldn't go to Liverpool. How would that effect the squad? He's, allegedly, refused to travel for pre-season and let's it be known he wants to explore his options while his teammates are on a plane without a fkn clue what's happening. It's so underhand and sneaky. I've lost all faith in the lad.

Also using all their friends on socials and in the media to unsettle Isak further and to try and drive this thing at £120mil, FFS it’s quite obvious and apparent what’s occurring. Tell them to do one.

Sorry mate but they don't play for Newcastle. Or have any of my time invested in them. It's Isak I'm pissed at. I can't comment on CEO's or corporate executives and don't care.

Where did I say that. You're being a clown man. Embarrassing yourself.

I'm sure you'll scour my posts like. You seem the type.😄
