Amazing to hear some pundit (can't remember who) lamenting how hard pre season was for Liverpool with issues off the pitch and how tough it is for Snot to have to integrate new players after the season starts.

They've somehow managed to become the victims of the unscrupulous situation their devious underhand practices created, while trying to fuck us in the process [emoji38]

Scousers man !

Really shitty of Palace not to hand over Guehi.  Who do they think they are?

The dippers forum have taken notice and typical arrogant bastards saying shit like he (Woltemade) won’t be here for long once a “big club” comes in for him.

Also haven’t seemed to turn on Isak just yet, it’s the system he’s playing in apparently.

So they're blaming Slot, tremendous

Ok sorry, one bad pass in a row...

Off topic but there was a point near the end of the game yesterday where Bruno played a pass straight out of play and got a round of applause for his effort. I nearly fell apart laughing and actually said quite loudly "Fuck me imagine if (think I said Longstaff or Miley) did that!"

I noticed that. Put it straight out for a throw in by the East Stand. I was in the NE Corner and everyone around was up applauding him. You're right if Longstaff did that there'd have been absolute hell on reminiscent of when Scott Parker Al had a full on argument with the East Stand inhabitants [emoji38]

Not sure why we're grouping Longstaff and Miley, but I get the point.

He'd just been awarded MOTM hadn't he? That's why he was being applauded?

They don't announce MOTD at the match, do they? I've never heard it.

Don't they? Weird. Ok, well he did it just after they announced it on sky. I assumed it was announced in the ground too but guess not.

We're not grouping anyone, I just can't remember who I'd said, but was probably one of them two or Murphy :) Basically *insert player who might get grief rather than support after an error*. Shocking memory considering I only have a couple of pints these days!

This is just copium from their end. They've been getting clowned mercilessly about Isak and Wirtz from all their rivals after losing three in a row and not looking that convincing so far season.

We've got some very good players and so far only Isak has left, and it was down to a pretty unique situation with that contract promise and the changes with Mitchell coming in.

They must be fuming the Isak situation has not got off to a flyer and in a weird way it's complicated things with Ekitike who had a great start, and meanwhile Woltemade is already scoring goals and getting such good reviews from even people outside of Newcastle.

Very amusing situation so far.

So after 5 games they went from laughing about the price and signing in general, to talking about how a "big club" will get him? I guess that means they admit to being brutally wrong.

I get why you're saying that, but isn't that player of the month?

Nope, its utter woke nonsense (I believe the phrase is) that we now have player of the match announced. well certainly the broadcasters use the term.

Its a tiny thing, and totally inconsequential to anything but POTM winds me up. It shouldn't but I'm allowed one petty gripe in this life

Sky one is still man of the match isn't it, with POTM meaning player of the month (on sky anyway). Is it a BBC thing?

it's because some shitehawks trademarked man of the match 20-odd years ago, and nothing to do with Keir Starmer forcing you to house a disabled lesbian migrant in your box room or whatever
