Even injured he’s far better (and his presence frees up more space for teammates) than the alternatives. He’s got another 10 days / 2 games of football, not weeks and months.

If we win on Sunday, we only need him for 1.

Just do the surgery now. Surely if most people on here can see he is injured, then our opponents sure as hell do too. We can't afford to play 10v11 for the last games hoping Isaks aura alone is going to magically gift us the goals we need.

We've got other players that are capable of hitting a penalty. Give Osula rest of the season to prove he is capable of being a reliable squad player.

We need to win a game still, I'd still prefer this Isak to the alternatives. If we beat Arsenal then fair enough, leave him out v Everton.

Happy to be proven to be completely wrong and for him to secure our CL spot, but based on the last 4-5 games I don't see this injured Isak providing us anything vital.

He won't free up more space for other team mates since our opponents knows he's not able to go sprint properly.

He doesn't/isn't able to dribble past players, so they don't need to double up on him when he has the ball.

He doesn't close down anyone either so our opponents can pass the ball around in defence as they see fit.

He hasn't exactly been clinical in front of goal in open play either. Even the game he scored the beautiful placed shot from outside the box he missed a ton of better chances.

Instead of risking him further, get him the rest and aid he needs to get us off to a great start of next season is my preference. I know it won't happen though.

He hasn't been that bad like

Off the boil, certainly, but he's still been causing a bit of bother here and there.

On a personal level Salah looks out of reach but I'm sure he'll be wanting to finish above Haaland, who is apparently back to full fitness.

And there's a quadruple over Arsenal to get done.

Exactly. We’ve also not created any clear cut chances for him.

If the team is expected to serve goals on a platter for our world class striker in order for him to score, we could literally play anyone up top and just cash in on Isak. I'd say his (lack of) movement, runs and inability to get past a man on top of fluffing fairly easy chances is just as much, if not more, of the problem right now.
