Still need to beat Everton but aye, a lot hinged on today.

We beat Chelsea, swung the GD by four + now they're without a striker.

Before anyone gets their hopes up. I'm going to the Everton game. Current record is 6 draws and Bournemouth (last game I attended)

Off to Europe we go :)

Hopefully results next weekend fall for us and it’s a party atmosphere last game with it already wrapped up, but doesn’t matter.

One home win from champions league, happy days.

The Newcastle fan in me will still fear a Pickford MOM performance and DCL header in a 1-0 defeat :|

If we finish second, I presume we get a more favourable Champions League group?

I'm guessing you've only recently came out of a coma? Get better mate 🤒 😷

So in the instance they win every game, which they probably will except when they cant on the last day

2points to guarantee finishing above Villa

3 for Forest (pre their kick-off today)

4 for Chelsea

6 for Man City (not even thinking about that)

3 if Forest beat Chelsea, 3 for a draw, 4 if Chelsea win and 1 for Forest in that instance

We were already off to Europe, albeit a lesser competion. Obviously Champions League would be best for the teams finances, but I wouldn't be crying if we only managed the Europa league as I think we'd progress further. Conference league, we'd be one of the favourites to win it. More silverware.

Cool, I've got one as well, the PJ cross surf boards.

Best rock band in the world. Consistent as fuck and the new album is a belter, which I'm not saying out of bias. I've listened to Gigaton 30-40 times but just don't like it. Dark Matter I adore, even the soppy songs. There isn't a skippable track for me. I'll never get to see them live unless I win the lottery and conquer many of my anxiety ridden phobias.

If Arsenal lose today at Anfield then our match against them is a game for 2nd 👀

I don't think Arsenal will lose mind, LiVARpool's gone on holiday since winning the league, at least that's what it looked like against Chelsea. I imagine the official's won't bother helping them as much now either, seeing as their job is done for the season.

I’ve seen a few supercomputers at having Arsenal at over 95% in the CL, but their next two games are against the top 3.

Lose those two and City, Chelsea, Villa, Forest all win their next game, can we really rule out Arsenal bottling under pressure vs Southampton then not getting CL at all?

Just a horrible thought, embarrassing for the Champions League, embarrassing for the Premier League

Not sure why it’s embarrassing for the PL tbf, it shows the league’s strength.  I don’t think it’s a good thing for European football generally
