Not sure about the very likely bit. GD currently 4 better than Chelsea and if Forest beat Chelsea it would go up to at least 5. More just a possibility IMO.

But then we get atleast -2 from the losses, and they get atleast +1 from the win. That's down to 2, and while "goals scored" makes it 3, they could definetly ship a few past Man Utd to make up that difference. We will never lose both though, that would be wild.

Ah aye, not denying it's possible but it's just a possibility rather than a likelihood IMO. If we lose both games by 1 and Chelsea lost at Forest that would need a 3 goal margin, assuming Chelsea only lost that by one, in their other game v man utd. Doable of course but even us having scored 6 more goals means they might need more.

It says a lot about the other teams when Southampton and Leicester are the only teams helping us atm.[emoji38]

Only seems like its Spurs and Man Utd who doesnt give a shit to me.

I reckon it's actually both. They are shit, but also don't give a shit.

Yeah, but I was expecting a better performance from Fulham vs Villa and Chelsea, and Bou vs Villa. Especially as they were both fighting for 8th.

When we qualify for the CL I fail to see where we go from there. A run in the CL will be glorious but how the fuck do we better this season?

By beating Bournemouth.

Some thoughts.

Manure & Spuds fielding weakened teams, or, giving fringe players a chance to impress before the big final.

Arsenal are lacking upfront options, you just know Isak will turn it on, show them what they are missing (plus he's due a good game)

Forest are as good as out now with the fat mess having a go at the manager.

Looking at our first 11, we are a GK, RCB and RW away (maybe a CM too ..) from having a team that can beat anyone on their day

Then some depth up front, CM and LB for a quality squad..

I really hope we can make some improvements this summer and do something special next season, think with Howe it's possible

Btw, lowest we can finish is 6th now. Surely we're talking Europa at the minimum?

Technically its not. But the odds of us missing out of Europa is miniscule. This has to happen:

Palace wins against City.

Forest win both their games.

Villa win both their games.

Chelsea win with alot of goals vs Man Utd.

Newcastle losing both their games.

Odds of that happening is like 1000/1

Done the league predictor, set it to us losing and everyone winning, plus all 3 outcomes of Forest V Chelsea, and we can't finish lower than 6th.

Forest could win both games and Chelsea beat Man U by a hatful….We then finish 7th, if we lose both games.

Ah right, so FA cup would see the Europa spot go there, and we'd have 6CL and the conference?

There’s a scenario where England could end up not having a team in the conference of Chelsea win it but can’t recall where they need to be in the league.

I still think we need a win to lock it in as Villa will win the last two now, it wouldn’t surprise me if they qualify with us and city.

Surely City and Forest not winning against the relegated teams this weekend dispel the notion that any wins are guaranteed?

Away at Old Trafford last game of the season isnt that free of a game.

What about our place in the conference? If we get to EL or CL, does it not go back to the league?
