The Butcher Posted yesterday at 08:19 Share Posted yesterday at 08:19 Knew he never would get a proper chance here after starting the first league game on the bench after being our best player in pre-season. It's a shame he left, but trophy.

A few sub appearances for us doesn't see him improve. Agreed. It’s been an excellent move for him. Happy for him. We got the worst deal of all the FFP shenanigans by far. Sold our 2 brightest youngsters for decent to bad fees. Poor prep but we also don’t have a saleable squad. Miley needs first team football too. I would send him out on loan and get in a cheap cover player like Villa did with Barkley + a first teamer like they did with Onana. Gives us 5 good options for 3 positions and allows Miley to get regular playing time. Include a recall in January.

Deffo agree on the loan Would you sell 1 or both of Longstaff and Willock in this instance? As we'd have too many CM's doing this
Boey_Jarton Posted yesterday at 09:30 Share Posted yesterday at 09:30 Anderson's's sale and subsequent success at Forest, rather than sitting on the bench with us, is arguably a demonstration of FFP working successfully.

I'm sure the so called Big 6 have better players sitting on the bench so that's not much of an argument for FFP Edited yesterday at 09:35 by Bishops Finger

Maybees the odd game on the left but he doesn't want to play LM. Forest play an entirely different style of football and it suits him to a tee. Tonali was banned all last season and Joelinton missed chunks. It’s easy to forget how many games he was starting LCM before he got injured early in season, and was probably part of Ashworth thinking at the time of not being sold on giving Joelinton a new deal. nufcjmc
I wonder if we get champions league we will finally announce some of those lacking sponsorship areas such as training ground and training kit to boost the kitty more. Has been debated already about how slow it's been and if that's been lack of europe or market conditions or the man city challenges. However for me we are going to have to continue to invest heavily and have an aging squad in certain areas wait too long and you start looking at barnes/bruno/big joe also heading to 30 and seeing their value diminish as they get older. Obviously this is obvious but in theory even when you have a great starting 11 the investment is continuous as even your good players age out just need to ensure your not having to do major surgery every summer as its not possible in a psr world. Pokerprince2004
So we haven't bought anyone of note for nearly 2 years and are still at risk of failing PSR according to Stefan. These rules really are insufferable

I think we’re in a good position for this summer. I was hoping more other teams wouldn’t be. If we finish in the CL spots on the back of a cup win, selling Anderson and Minteh was a master stroke versus the alternative.
pubteam
FFP and PSR are making football worse not better. It’s nearly impossible to compete in your domestic league and Europe and have a squad to cope with the demands unless you are one of the handful of clubs with massive revenue. I wish we would just start cooking the books.
