Not usually a fan of career resurrection of players on big contracts but would anyone take Tanguy Ndombele for £5m?

Absolutely not. I can guarantee you the minute he hangs his boots up he will be obese.

Random ITK so 99.99% bull. Won’t pretend I know anything about either player mind, think I’ve seen a few articles about both in the past but can I feck recall seeing them play.

My mate from work is a Leeds fan and I watched several of their games this year and Archie Gray has been good in the Champo. Thing is, he is the latest in a long line of football in the family who played for Leeds. Be surprised if Leeds sells.

Like the look of him. Seems to have great awareness and is very press resistant. Having said that I guess every top club will be after him in the summer. The type of player I’d love to see us sign. Even at a very high price.

I know "it's not the same" but there's a certain irony of us frothing at the mouth over having to sell Bruno, Isak or Botman to progress then salivating over the prospect of nabbing relegated/promotion team's best players. Especially newly promoted.

Definitely a food chain  ?????

If the market forces a player sale that’s just football. If contrived premier league elitist rules force the sale that’s a disgrace!

The Gray kid is shockingly good for his age. Unreal prospect IMO.

Agree with you on the irony of things. Terribly sad if Leeds have to sell Gray already considering the history of his family with the club, and the fact he's only just started emerging there.

I'm with you to an extent, but both Leeds & Gray have the option of turning down any potential transfer. If both agree to the deal then what's the issue? If Leeds don't get promoted this season he'd be daft to turn down any club at the top end of the PL.

Georginio Rutter has been been Leeds' best player whenever I've seen them this season.

If they don't go up, they'll probably have to sell somebody.

I'd argue he'd be daft to leave Leeds tbh.

He's only just turned 18 this year and is a mainstay in the Leeds first team already, gaining huge experience at a high level.

Shouldn't be in a rush to leave his hometown club as they look like being promoted and he'll be featuring in the first team for them in the Prem.

If he moves now it will likely be to the bench of a top club where he likely will be playing far less.

For those wanting the option of playing a more traditional DM, we've been linked with Ndidi on a free this summer.

You to forgot to say it was Graeme Bailey who linked us so it’s utterly irrelevant

I didn't forget anything.

The original article I read was from Harry Watkinson at Teamtalk, who had it as an exclusive, so it wasn't from Graeme Bailey.

Isn't he pretty average these days?

He doesn't look PL ready though, especially not for a team like us. He gives the ball away a lot and his decision making needs significant improvement. Maybe for a Bournemouth, Everton type team.

If he comes here, he won't be going near the first team for probably a whole season. If we could buy him and loan him back to Leeds for a season, that could be attractive all round?

I'm not sure how he wouldn't be near the first team when we've got the likes of Anderson and Miley playing for us. Gray has played at a higher level than both of them before they played for us

Man, Chiesa is up there with my most-wanted signings.

He plays on the left though, we’ve already got two right footed left forwards. I’d love him mind
