No he said we will not buy established star players, as Lee Ryder was coming up with some nonsense about signing a player like Shearer. Howe said no because of the package a transfer like that would cost.

It’s pretty strange for a club to just go year after year not selling anyone of any value. A lot of work needs done to the squad given the lack of movement over the past few years. Sold Minteh, Anderson, Wood, Kelly, Almiron. Close to 100m in sales. We have sold, and Howe said we are in a strong position yesterday in terms of PSR. GeordieDazzler Posted Monday at 12:16 Share Posted Monday at 12:16 (edited) Everton could be quite a smart move for him, yes he might start at Chelsea but there’s a high chance he gets lost in the churn. Main risk of going to Everton is getting stuck there like Bowen at West Ham. PSR making it very difficult to move on at the right time. HayDen Traces Posted Monday at 12:17 Share Posted Monday at 12:17 I suspect we'll be in for Mbuemo, its just whether we can offer near his terms I guess. If Man U offer £200k p/w we'll just back off I reckon

Seems like they've spent bugger all for about 3-4 years. Still got losses from recent years though. The debt is paid off, but the year on year losses still exist. Also I’d struggle to see how much they are getting considering they are resorting to having Castore as a kit manufacturer, a betting company, and a loan for their new stadium. Their commercial income would be like us under Ashley, absolutely gimped. They aren’t getting any better until they have had a few years in their new stadium and their main commercial deals are renewed.
