I think this was it (the gordan dive), and it looked a dive where I was at as well.

Even if there was contact. It was because of his horrendous dive. Could have just ran into him and got the foul. Or tried to keep playing. Looked blatant as fuck from the Leazes, I thought. More annoyed at the dive than the ref not giving a foul.

A lot of water under the bridge between that point and their goal, though.

If it was a dive, why wasn't he booked for it?

They don't have the balls to double down on the diving accusations, just incase it wasn't diving (even if they're 95% sure it was). Pretty sure that's why they barely ever book them.

had hoped we would take 3 or 4 points from Fulham and Bournemouth at home.. ahead of the 2nd leg cup, then Man City, Forest and Liverpool in a row. Tough bunch of games but we seem to turn up in the big ones .. looking forward to Wednesday though!!

It was really poor. But we are part of a group of really good teams who play each other quite often and it will be decided by the first goal, confidence, woodwork etc et.

The league has never been like this. The quality outside of the promoted teams are insane. Man U and Spurs, as hilarious as they are, in any other league in Europe are top 6. Which is why they are favourites for the Europa.

Which is a long way of saying we are going to have weirdly poor days and exceptional days. But I trust Eddie and these players to do more of the latter than the former. And they will be so up for Wednesday, as will we

It's fucking mad how rattled I get after a shit home defeat. just pacing around the kitchen at 5am depressed and fuming (fussy newborn notwithstanding).

Sucks. Just to add insult to injury my nightshift colleague who works along side me in the control room is a Forest fan. He's been replaying the 7-0 thrashing of Brighton highlights on and off all fucking night [emoji38]

Game starts at 7am here and my baby gets up at 645 or so, big sister gets up at 745, so I'm running around doing breakfast and diapers and clothes and shit while team implodes in the background.

Was real tough trying to turn the day around after that one lol.

Entire day wiped out for me with the travel. Pretty sure I got a speeding ticket on the way home. Couldn’t sleep until 12. 8 month old awake a few times in the night. Then up at 6.

Useless cunts could have made all of that not matter one bit   But no. Fortress St James’ is becoming more like a sand castle after the tide has started to come in.

Two games at home against decent (but not top class opposition), where our second half performance has been considerably worse than the first half performance (not that they were good either). We talk about leaders at the club, but you have to question what is being discussed in the 15 minute changeover. It's only been Forrest away, where we have seen a considerable upturn in performance second half.

Our second half performances are often a lot worse than the first. Earlier in the season perhaps not. Bournemouth we improved and the same at Wolves. Although that was a low bar! Forest was class, like you say.

Sometimes we have earned that right and it is a bit of game management and a case of saving their legs, reducing risk, defending a lead etc.

But when we go behind at home. We look utterly clueless and the second half showings are becoming a concern. Especially as we almost always get worse as a team after subs are made.

The subs are either like for like, or just a complete scattter gun approach. Willock has been piss poor for months,  we needed more control Miley should have been the sub yesterday.

I was amazed Miley didn’t come on, seemed like he was exactly what we needed to control the game better.

I said the same. But I also thought Willock gave us a lot in attack. Kept popping up on the edge of the box and finding space unmarked.

On another day he has a goal and an assist in his 30 minutes. But he somehow misses the ball from 5-6 yards out and Isak’s unlucky with his shot off the bar.

Hard to legislate for a Premier League footballer not even connecting with the ball like that. But you could argue with how bad his cameos have been. That it is half expected and he shouldn’t be on in the first place.

I could take the Bournmouth defeat as lets face it they were excellent. Yesterday felt like a smash/grab by Fulham. Feels like it was a missed opportunity with other teams around us losing.
