Mate at most Isak cost £65m and he's done 3 years of a 6 year deal, how the fuck have you come up with a £44m book price?

wages on top of that to consider as well

Not at the time of us signing Isak, but even if it was it would’ve meant we’d have amortised 60% of his fee instead of 50%

Yeah I know. Was more a post to back your numbers up even more ;)

PSR amortisation is also max 5 years isn't it?

Not sure if that was brought in after we bought Isak so does it count to those on longer contracts from before that ruling was brought in ?

Yeah there's about half Isak's fee left on his book value, so if we sell him, 32 odd million gets taken off the net profits for the sale.

Plus the reportedly sell on fee

Got you - Isak’s been here more than three seasons, so 60% of his fee is amortised, not 30%

Depends on if he club elected to amortise his fee over the full length of his contract or not, as the 5 year maximum came in the following year

Which is still only rumoured, also remember the £62M fee was also based on add ons, how many of these have been met?

also £32M isn’t £44M is it?

Fair enough I was wrong on that but say sell on is correct and at 10% - all I was saying was to the posts saying “we’ll get these for 265 - isaks sale we may get them for £115”, that’s not going to happen.

Given the circumstances around this, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of that rumoured sell on clause will be passed onto whoever is buying, by way of a higher fee. I also imagine Alex's recent behaviour might see him lose out on loyalty bonuses etc too. So if indeed there is a sell on clause, which I certainly can’t remember being reported on at the time of his signing, the club will try and mitigate that as far as possible. There’s no way he goes for the £120M Liverpool might want, it’s time for them to put up or shut up

I went looking a few hours ago and found stupid typical articles dating back start of the year on it - saying 10%  but just stupid online stuff.
