I remember feeling slightly uncomfortable watching his unveiling video for the club where he was asked who his favourite player is and he answered Kai Havertz. Sadly Wissa is clearly finished/not fancied so he’s been tasked with being the 9 for his first games (which he did well) then forced to play in midfield (where he didn’t as he’s painfully slow). Gallowgate Toon Posted March 22 Share Posted March 22 Howe confirmed in his presser that he was more of a 10 in the first half. He was right on Xhaka, it was a good battle. I think the play second half needed to be to shift Gordon wide and try Woltemade up top to create some overloads against their midfield. Even just for a short period.
