Magpie
Ok, fair a few that played the premier league predictions comp were interested in a World Cup edition so here we are. I will be using the World Cup schedule for this so: Group stage round 1 Group stage round 2 Group stage round 2 Round of 32 Round of 16 Quarter finals round Semi finals round Final Same scoring system as the PL version so every round (apart from the final) you can nominate one game and whatever you score for that game will be doubled. For example if you predict England 1 - 1 Croatia and it finishes 1 - 1 you'll get 10 points. If it finishes 2 - 2 you'll get 6 points. You get the idea!!! - 2 points for correctly predicting the outcome i.e. home win or away win - 1 point for the home goals scored - 1 point for the away goals scored - a bonus point for all 3 elements correct - a correct put not perfect draw prediction is worth 3 points I will also need the following pre tournament predictions: Winner (10 points) Runner up (5 points) Top scorer (10 points) Number of red cards (5 points) How will England fare? (5 points) Round 1 - deadline Thursday 11th June @ 20.00 Mexico v South Africa South Korea v Czech Republic Canada v Bosnia and Herzegovina USA v Paraguay Qatar v Switzerland Brazil v Morocco Haiti v Scotland Australia v Turkey Germany v Curacao Netherlands v Japan Ivory Coast v Ecuador Sweden v Tunisia Spain v Cape Verde Belgium v Egypt Saudi Arabia v Uruguay Iran v New Zealand France v Senegal Iraq v Norway Argentina v Algeria Austria v Jordan Portugal v D.R. Congo England v Croatia Ghana v Panama Uzbekistan v Colombia Edited Monday at 21:24 by Magpie

Magpie Posted Monday at 21:22 Share Posted Monday at 21:22 (edited) Sorry, forgot to add I will also need the following pre tournament predictions. Winner (10 points) Runner up (5) Top scorer (10) Number of red cards (5) How will England fare? (5) Edited Monday at 21:25 by Magpie
South-Cheshire-Toon Posted yesterday at 13:26 Share Posted yesterday at 13:26 I think, where in the past, people have jokingly put scores in of 7, 8, 9 or 10 - 0, there will be a few like that in these first round games.
South-Cheshire-Toon Posted yesterday at 13:46 Share Posted yesterday at 13:46 Do this one first of all - Germany - Winner (10) Brazil - Runner up (5) Denis Undav (Germany) - Top scorer (10) 10 - Number of red cards (5) Quarter Finals - How will England fare? (5) Now just have to predict the scores now for 104 games.
