Dave
I'd have Jaaskelainen, Sidwell and Matt Taylor in there. Fucking Lennon?

Guest kingdawson
I'd have Jaaskelainen, Sidwell and Matt Taylor in there. f****** Lennon? yep he's been vey good (again) this year. Think i should have put Bentley ahead of him though.
Dave
That's a better shout. How you can't have Scholes in there is beyond me thinking about it now. Scholes in for Giggs somehow and Bentley on the bench in place of Lennon. McCarthy has impressed me.

Tooj
GK: James: Seems to get better with age. RB: Solano: Been a revelation in the position which he started his career, a real calming influence at the back, topped off with a performance of Ronaldo not getting a sniff on New Years Day. CB: Campbell: Finished eh? CB: Woodgate: Showing everyone when he does play what a class act he is. LB: Shorey: A breath of thresh air, just like the time he's been playing for. RM: Cristiano Ronaldo: Finally an end product, been an absolute revelation all season. LM: Van Persie: Despite playing a lot of front he has played there this season and got a hell of a lot of goals for his troubles. CM: Scholes: Best central midfielder this country has produced since Gascoigne and has had a fantastic season, gets on with his job with the minimum of fuss. What a player he has been. CM: Essien: Started off the season a revelation and hasn't had the same impact lately but this is due to his versatility and the fact he's been covering every position due to Chelsea's so called injury crisis. CF: Drogbar: Scored some outstanding goals this season and has been a real menace and on his day is as good as anyone, and the thing this season is his day has been the majority of games. CF: Anelka: Really really impressed me this season with his attitude and the fact he's been willing to do a job for the team.

eaststar
Vidic??? I don't think he would be in the team of the season for all comps...his form has definitely dropped in the past couple of weeks. My team: VDS Richards Woodgate Carragher riise Ronaldo Essien Fabregas giggs Drogba martins
Mr. Snrub
But you'd include Carragher? He's had a very below par season compared to his usual standards.
Tooj
But you'd include Carragher? He's had a very below par season compared to his usual standards. Don't say that out loud man, he had a canny game against Barca so of course he's been the best defender this season.
