Hulse is out for them, so that provides a glimmer of hope

Aye, hopefully with Hulse missing it means Roeder can buck his own trend of finishing 7th followed by relegation

I can't see us go down even if we lose all of our remaining games.

How does that work then?

18. since 22 teams became 20

2005/06 34p - Birmingham

2004/05 33p - Crystal Palace

2003/04 33p - Leicester

2002/03 42p - West Ham

2001/02 36p - Ipswich

2000/01 34p - Man City

1999/00 33p - Wimbledon

1998/99 36p - Charlton

1997/98 40p - Bolton

1996/97 40p - Sunderland

1995/96 38p - Man City

Mean 36,27

...so 37 i enough ;)

And we will not lose all of our games, so I don't think relegation is an issue

Well probably beat Sheff Utd, avoid relegation comfortably, and Roeder will be hailed as having done another "good job" in his last 7 games. No doubt well hear more of "Without Glenn, wed have been relegated".

Someone with some sense. People talking about relegation want their heads examined man.

3 points will be enough, we have Watford on the last day of the season who will be already down and have nothing to play for.

Well I may agree that Watford might have nothing to play for anymore, but I still think they will be playing for pride and will give us a tough time,so we shouldnt be over confident.

There are 8 clubs who would die to be in our position right now and who would consider themselves as safe if they already were.

How many of those clubs have the same appalling record we do since February, the same shocking scoring record, a shite manager and a squad of players who don't seem to give a fuck since the AZ away match?

I'm not saying we're doomed - I just think we (well, specifically Roeder) need to be aware that unless the lads pull together and start being professional then in a few weeks we could be looking over our shoulder with discomfort.

Didn't someone recently say that Wimbledon managed one point from their last eleven matches the year they went down or something?

I said this elsewhere, you are not going down, and neither are we, but it is at least interesting that the potential relegation list is so big this season.

By the way, I'm saying "neither are we" in a casual, blase' manner, but our last few games have been utterly awful, nervewracking affairs to watch. We too are counting points and running through various different scenarios, but I really think both clubs will be fine.

Incidentally, my main reasoning for the above bravado is that you have enough points already, and we aren't actually losing many games, just drawing them. Oh, and Man City and Charlton drawing, and Fulham currently losing helps too

everyone's changed their fucking tune then

I'm sorely tempted to go to the Man City post match thread and start cross checking names
