LooneyToonArmy
Marco Reus back to his hometown club for 17.5m euros.......good to see a top German player sign for someone else other than Bayern for once. Very ambitious of Dortmund, coming up with 17.5m can't have been easy considering their financial situation. But like they said, it's a unique case as this is a Dortmund born lad. Ticks all the boxes being young, fast and able to play everywhere on the pitch. Lewandowski Kagawa/Großkreutz Götze Reus Bender Gundogan Looking very tasty, the average age of those six is 21,5. Gundogan has been a bit disappointing but I think he'll come good eventually. Pleased with my man Lewandowski, having a great season so far I thought their financial problems were in the past? I know they had massive problems before but I thought they had started to balance the books in recent years. Saying that 17.5m euros is still a hell of a lot of money. There is talk of Barrios leaving (and even Kagawa)
David28
Think they can afford Reus knowing that they'll sell Götze in the near future. Despite saying that they don't need to sell him - from a financial point of view - they won't resist offers coming in from European top clubs. Only a question of time till he'll leave - just hope it won't be Bayern.
LooneyToonArmy
Bundesliga - Bayern's ‘new striker’ stunt backfires Bayern Munich have angered their fans after a media stunt in which they claimed to be unveiling a new striker backfired. The German club announced on their website that “a spectacular name” would be signing for the club, with the unveiling to follow in the afternoon. The news generated a huge wave of excitement from fans on social networking sites to see which superstar striker had been brought to the Allianz Arena. Fans were able to watch the unveiling on the club’s Facebook page, but were disappointed when they tuned in. Bayern Munich’s general manager Christian Nerlinger was shown in the video unveiling the new player’s identity, only for users to see their own Facebook profile picture. The users then saw their own name appear on the back of a Bayern Munich number 8 shirt. “Dear fans, you probably already noticed, that we did not sign a new player,” a statement on Bayern Munich’s Facebook page read. “This app is for our fans to show the importance of you for our club.” Within half an hour of the announcement the Bayern Munich explanation had attracted well over 3,000 comments, almost universally negative. “Failed PR campaign, very, very weak,” said one commenter, Tim Wiedmann. “You stupid idiots! I’ve sacrificed my lunch break for a bad joke,” added Bunyamin Divarci. “Those responsible must feel the consequences.”

Now he's their 3rd best scorer behind Huntelaar and Raul! He'll be mint when he gets a bit fitter and stronger.
David28
Raul once again doing the business for Schalke. 2-0 up, he scored both goals. Wonder what they'll do without him next season if he's really off to Quatar. Shame, because he could have played one or two more years at least in the one of the top leagues. He belongs to a decent club and has the chance to reach CL football with them for next season.
