Keefaz
I don't even understand what they're sponsoring. They're sponsoring a bar? Not sure why we'd want to break from Scottish & Newcastle, either.
Gash
"The Official Beer of Newcastle" - Carling "The Official Chewing gum of the Premier League" - Wrigleys "The Offical Time Keepers of Arsenal Football Club" - Ebel Getting abit rediculous tbh, anything for money, but if its making money and is just putting the clubs name to something, so be it! Guest johnson293
I don't even understand what they're sponsoring. They're sponsoring a bar? Not sure why we'd want to break from Scottish & Newcastle, either. They're obviously paying/sponsoring us to sell their beer alone in the bars in the ground, and use the clubs name in their marketing. And the reason for breaking with S&N.... Money of course. Its probably just the first of many changes at the club, to increase marketing revenues. Similar to somehting that was mentioned in a thread about Chelsea, while Ashley may have money of his own to put in, he will want the club to bring in its own money as well, rather than it living off his fortune, like Chelsea have so far. LoveItIfWeBeatU
Yes but not on kids shirts iirc. Is that a new rule? AS if a kid wearing an everton shirt is going to drive the kid into alcohol abuse. "Mmm I must try that Chang Beer, mum can i have a pack of four Changs please" It's a new rule the drinks industry have agreed on: - "It will be seen as a gesture by the multi-billion-pound drinks industry to head off more draconian government action amid concern about soaring levels of alcohol abuse among the young." http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/health/article1875555.ece

Any excuse to release a new kit... haha ((i'd probably still buy it)) The new partnership signals the end of Newcastle United's previous association with Scottish & Newcastle. The club thanks the company for all its past support and extends its best wishes for the future. Fuck all to do with the shirt sponsor.
