Bellamy turns us down for the Hammers (allegedly)

how many strikers do West Ham need? never hated a rival club so much in my life

To be fair..

Carlton Cole is s***.

Kepa Blanco - No idea.

Dean Ashton.

Marlon Harewood they are trying to get rid of.

Bobby Zamora the same.

Tevez is most likely on his way to Manure.

Thats only really 3 strikers and I would be surprised if they knocked back any offers for Cole.

They do have 13 defenders though  :o

I think they only had Kepa Blanco on loan. He's off somewhere else now.

Im never usually glad when a player turnes  us down, but i am in this case . Bellamy is a decent striker but its just what hes like off the field and what he said about Shearer - ill never forgive him.

Gudjohnsen's Premiership record at Chelsea = 54 goals in 186 apps.

Bellamy's Premiership record at Coventry, Newcastle, Blackburn & Liverpool = 54 goals in 181 apps.

Not saying it isn't, but you also have to remember Bellamy spent a season on the wing at Coventry in a relegation season.

You may well do, however, the stats are inaccurate and tell only a partial tale with both players. Both good players, neither are exceptional. Both would do a decent job here. One is patently not going to be welcomed by a fair proportion of fans. Justifiably so. Pretty sure Bellamy is too dense to recognise that he isnt the most popular up here, so he may well harbour an ambition to return.

Bellamy gets his big club....

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Craig Bellamy has completed a move to West Ham.

The Hammers are reported to have paid £8m for the Wales international on a four-year deal on £75,000 a week.

Gudjohnsen played CM under Mourinho so that is a good record

Not every game & Frank Lampard plays CM & he still scores a stack.

He played CM in his last season with them which is why he only managed 2 goals in 26 games.

Not every game. When  they were chasing games he went up front & I am sure he went on for Drog or Crespo up front at times.

2 goals is still shit.

On KUMB someone is saying £82k pw! ;D :uglystupid2:

Some other bloke says:

I am struggling to see a positive in this signing as he has been a complete w.nker at every club he has signed for. I have a close contact at Blackburn Rovers and he said he was the most arrogant player he had seen at the club.

My only hope is that Lucas can keep him in check...

apparently its just been on SSN, he hasnt singed officially yet.

West Ham have agreed a fee he has passed a medical and agreed terms, but he seems to be doing a joey barton and wants some sort of bonus from liverpool

Following comments attributed to Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez today, West Ham United would like to make it clear that Craig Bellamy has not yet completed a move to Upton Park.

After a fee of £7.5million was agreed between the two clubs, we can confirm that the Welsh international captain has successfully passed a medical and agreed personal terms.

However, the deal has been delayed due to a private contractual issue between Craig Bellamy and Liverpool, which must be resolved before any transfer can be completed.

The player is due to meet with Liverpool on Monday morning, and we expect to complete the transfer soon after.

As always, confirmation of any new signing will appear here on whufc.com as soon as it is formally completed.
