STM
How long is Barton expected to be out for?
Guest Texasmag
They say around 6 weeks, but who knows. Suppose it depends on how the bone heals.
The Bonk
Sam said he'll be available for Spuds at home on the 22nd.
STM
Sam said he'll be available for Spuds at home on the 22nd. Which basically just means he won't play the Everton game so that he will have a week hard training under and a reserve outing under his belt before our next fixture. The Bonk
Hope he has a cracking game against The Yids. Rod, which is pretty smart to me, don't want to rush him back, god knows he'll just break the other foot with our luck.

Rod, which is pretty smart to me, don't want to rush him back, god knows he'll just break the other foot with our luck. He might be up against a reinvigorated team. If Jol is toast by then (which seems inevitable) it's being openly said that Hughton and Segers will be out the door with him and Clive Allen and Steve Clarke will be caretakers till the end of the season. Allen has done a fine job for the development group, Clarke would only mean one thing for the summer. There again, reinvigorated or not, 3-0 is still the most popular predicted scoreline. James
12 weeks rather than 6-8 weeks then.
bodson
Barton is no messiah, he is a very similar player to what we already have available. We need to buy someone more creative midfielder in january.
Baggio
He's not similar to what we've got at all, he's the one midfielder we've got that's capable of picking the ball up and driving the team forward, we've got no link between midfield and attack at the moment and hopefully he'll be the player to bridge it. Guest BigSamsBarmyArmy
He's not similar at all. He's got a lot of heart and will be briliant when he gets back.
