ujpest doza
At least you guys only get them once a year. The Old Firm are an archaic embarassment to Scottish football. I fucking detest it when they come to Tannadice. I just don't like people who have no standards. They p!ss everywhere. It's disgusting. Lad on Toontastic was telling how he was in Tiger Tiger having his tea last night when some pissed Celtic ned outside wanders over, and starts pissing up against the window right next to where he's sitting eating. He assumes that it must be like one way glass or something, checks when he gets outside, and nope, the filthy fucking tramp will have known that everyone in the place could see him. I know what you mean though, they're like fucking dirty animals. Yesterday dinnertime as i was walking down Barrack Road a 30 seater mini bus was disembarking a load of Celtic Charvas at the bottom of Pitt Street where the Magpie Club used to be. One of them had the decency to leg it over the road to the public bogs at the bottom of barrack Road while the rest just lobbed it out and pissed in full view in the wasteland that used to be The Magpie and is now a match day car park. One of them was pissing up against a Ford Escort in that car park. This bus looked like a youth club outing as it was all charvers, lads and lasses in their teens and early 20's. The lamp posts further up barrack road had all been christened as well next to the buses.
div-s-
I never seem to get any bother off them, usually find them to be quite friendly. They do have their twattish element but like all sets of fans I find if you're in a group they won't dare try it on. Let's face it, English fans have caused far more trouble on their travels, yet people always exaggerate about how bad it is. Remember when Celtic took tens of thousands of fans to Seville and there was only something like one arrest? That'd never happen with our lot. The Irish fans tend to be a lot more relaxed than the Scottish fans, I have a lot of Northern Irish Celtic fans as friends and we just enjoy the banter. I'm not doubting anyone's stories but I always hear these anecdotes yet I very rarely see it, I think a lot of people do stress over a bit of banter, on both sides of the border, and the media are only too happy to hype it all up. You must have walked around with your eyes shut yesterday then. There were falling off their buses on Barrack Road pissed up and pissing in the street and puking up at 1.15PM yesterday when i had walk past the ground and a rep that came in here said he'd seen some on Dean Street falling about in the middle of the road trying to retrieve the contents of one of thems overnight bag that had been thrown intot he middle of the road and spilled its contents. Both Glasgow Clubs fans have a much higher percentage of total wankers than any other clubs in Great Britain and treat trips to England for Friendlies like a re-enactment of Bannockburn. Glad to see some pubs had the good sense to ban them last night. a would say your wide a the mark there way rangers, considering we class ourselves as a british club and look forward to goin to england to play teams

Glad to see some pubs had the good sense to ban them last night. Nothing I haven't seen before. Celtic do have a twattish following, so do Rangers, and you're right that some of their worst fans come down when they play English teams. Celtic and Rangers don't get many big games to travel to, just the odd game in Europe, so it's no surprise they take this sort of thing seriously and see it as a chance to 'get one over on the English'. But in terms of fans' behaviour the English do just the same, and there's just as much anecdotal evidence to back that up. Many Scottish and Irish fans will tell you our lot are a disgrace and certainly wouldn't want us in their towns, and many here would deny that. It works both ways. Thousands of young people drinking heavily, puking and pissing in the streets and starting the odd bit of bother. You could be describing Benidorm or the Bigg Market on a Saturday night. Seriously, you'd think people had never heard of this stuff before. Some of them sing anti-English songs and threaten locals, but of course we never do that to them do we? Can't believe some of the double standards in this thread.
Aphrodite
I saw a video on youtube of Celtic vs Aberdeen, a fan in the bogs, can't remember which one he supported, but he stood up in one of those massive urinal things, ran up it then did a klinsmann in it. It's actually frustrating that I have to share the same planet as these inbred f****** mongs. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OrvxwDLNS30&mode=related&search= Minging. Guest cfhpantera27
We left Sports Cafe , went up past irish centre , through the celts , an one of them smashed his glass and put it to one of my mates necks , telling him he has 1 minute to leave or he dies. We also seen a couple of them batting a father , whilst with his bairns , absolutley disgraceful behaviour. Singing all these songs with IRA , an FUCK THE QUEEN etc etc in them , when all iday yesterday the normal celtic fans we spoke to where like , nahh us celts have nothing to do with politics etc etc... tell me about it, most Rangers and Celtic 'support' is based on biggotry, hence the fact theres probably more biggoted chav twats here in N.Ireland supportin them than there is in Glasgow, it's pathetic.. its fuckers like that give my country a bad name

Those Celtic people are just something else. It's like the have a huge chip on their shoulder and it manifests itself by trying to shock "the English" with a show of backward uncivilised behaviour. Mr Logic
Nearly thirty years ago I worked in the Isle of Skye with a load of guys from Glasgow and for the most part they were a great bunch, once you'd worked out the subjects to steer clear of. Two guys in particular who worked side by side every day, best mates, but come the Old Firm game they stayed as far away from each other as possible because they knew the chances were good they'd end up panel-beating the fuck out of each other. Nutters, but good blokes most of them. There are bad lots everywhere, I'm sure you can find a couple in the Toon any night of the week if you go looking for them. ross magoo
I cannot for the life of me understand why anybody would want either of them and their sectarian blood-feud in the premier league, bringing it to England every week? To get them the fuck out of Scotland. Works for me tbh :-)
brummie
In fairness, Rangers are just as bad. Both clubs have a sizeable, bigoted element. I've only seen a Scottish club play at our place once, and that was Rangers in 1976. A quick glance at the first few pages of this thread will give you an idea of what it was like: http://www.heroesandvillains.info/discuss/viewtopic.php?t=13346

Going round County Road like they owned the place and causing trouble. Not a very wise move. Even taking our fans out of the equation you don't fuck about with the locals round there. Guest Stubbs
This thread makes for appalling reading and makes me glad I didnt venture into town (I knew it would be carnage). Why we keep playing these twats is beyond me - we have no connection to them (if anything, Sunderland have the closer affiliation) and they just trash the city when they come down. Rangers fans are by no means perfect but I find them much better than Celtic. When we played Rangers at SJP 3 seasons ago, whilst they were here in their thousands and pretty bladdered, they were good crack, less intense, mixed really well with our fans and didnt cause bother. I remember some of their fans posting on another MB about how they enjoyed mixing with our fans. Every Rangers fan I have ever spoke to has nearly always said they consider Newcastle their favourite English side or second team.
NE5
Typical cuntish behaviour from them as usual. Celtics fans and their players took tonight so seriously, it was embarrassing. Sing all you want you, your team's still shite Always do, they are pathetic. Come here thinking its a battle of Britain throwing themselves into challenges like they're extras in braveheart. So fuking glad they've lost, 4-1 as well, what a joke. But their fans are bad enough when they've won, no doubt there will be a few cocks looking for a scrap before they go home, but by their usual brave and heroic standard they'll trash a kebab shop and find a lad walking home by himself to jump on. Always after trouble when they come here. All want to challenge the Geordie rep, bunch of fuking cunts. Hope they rot in their shitty league. Agreed. We don;t want them - or Rangers - in the premiership. More bother than they are worth. Besides, its amusing when they try to tell you how "big" they are having won loads of titles and cups with only each other to beat.
