Nobby
anyone know the scorers? Owen was playing again Gretna on the green Following his successful participation in Monday's reserve game at Blue Star, Michael Owen was expected to get another runout in a behind-closed doors game against a Gretna XI on Wednesday. Newcastle won that game 3-1 - news of scorers and Owen's display is awaited.

Scottish Mag
Newcastle won that game 3-1, thanks to goals from Kieron Dyer, Shola Ameobi and England youth international striker Ryan Donaldson.
Guest Geordie Boyo
5 goals for Shola. I know it's not exactly premiership opposition, but to be consistently scoring goals will no doubt boast his confidence big time given the opportunity for the 1st team in front of goal. Nice to see Donaldson getting on the score sheet too.

Keefaz
It's hilarious, in a way, the amount of pressure on Owen now. He basically has to score every game or people are going to think he's a waste of space.
