Exactly this if he has a decent season and someone offers 60m next summer...bye bye job done guess who wins again Some would argue that if he has a decent season it means we’ll probably be ok, which is enough for most fans these days.

Snag is we then get relegated. Oh no! How will we cope with that? Almost like it's in the club's mission statement.

Sign here. You'll get a move to Liverpool in two years.

    Well it's fairly obvious why.
  5. Not seen him but fully prepared to say there is no way a player called Jarrod Bowen will be good in the Barclays He's extremely highly rated down here. Gets into some amazing goalscoring positions for a winger. Not the quickest but always seems to be in the right place. I thought Leicester and Spurs were both after him.
  6. Tragic all he had to do was not hold up that 3-0, maybe not celebrate scoring against his "boyhood club" and when he did play for us, not bottle chances to score or hide from the ball. I’ve always hated our shit players, regardless of who they played for first. He’s just shit, it’ll never change.
  7. I think I might know who he is, from toontastic.....
  8. Urgh, just made the awful mistake of reading some of seymour’s Previous posts. Didn’t realise he rated colback, in between the incessant Sunderland baiting.
  9. Not really. You’ve heard of battered wife syndrome, right?

    That’s being paid to Seymour
  11. You're missing my point. I'm saying that coming from a scientific background, my default standpoint when confronted with new information is to think I might NOT be correct. To question my own thoughts, and the new information, and to see which holds most weight. I'm always 100% happy to be wrong and to change my views accordingly if shown something which I find outweighs my existing world view. The frustrating thing is when other people do the opposite and won't even accept that another point of view could possibly carry any weight whatsoever. It's why the whole world is in a f***ing mess at the moment with Trump, Brexit, climate change deniers, and indeed radicals of any kind on any part of a political or religious spectrum. If we all critically evaluated information put in front of us and were more flexible in our outlooks, the world would be an infinitely better place. So I'm about as far as anyone ever could be from saying that I think that because of my background I'm always right. Anyway. Yes, we've had individual years in which Ashley made a loss. You say you don't think that means Ashley will be more likely to sell. Do you remember when we were relegated to the Championship and he dropped the club's asking price? Because that's what happened very publicly in 2009. What you're suggesting won't happen has already happened in the past, under Mike Ashley, under the situation you describe. The problem is we went straight back up again so he got the TV money back. If we go down and stay down, history suggests he'll sell and sell cheap. Did he drop his asking price though? And if he did, he still didn't sell the club Bet your wife beats you.
  12. Mckeag had a willing buyer/consortium that fought for years buying shares. Who's doing that now? Now 100% convinced this guy is a club plant.
  13. But if you agree that the fans and club both have things they're expected to do... then if the club stops doing its side, surely fans are justified in walking away? The obligation on fans to not turn their back is based on an assumption that the club is trying. Ofcourse the fans are justified for not going, we've just lost one of the best managers that we'll get for a very long time, a manager who with the correct backing could taken this football club forward. I've not said that fans aren't justified for staying away, what I've consistently said is that I don't think staying away will help, which I don't. If I thought giving up my season ticket for ayear would help, I could go a year without going to a game, but I don't think it will. Thats my opinion which I'm entitled too. Would you miss one game, just to see? Or is that asking a bit too much? Do I need to go and ask the other 44,999 people you expect to turn up, face to face, if they'll boycott before you do? Aye, why not do that? Fans who go to games are worse than Mike Ashley, cancerous cretins apparently, they're holding your football club back by going to games? Why not go tell them how you feel? You obviously feel very strong about it So you won't miss one game? Also, I've not actually said that the fans who go to games are worse than Ashley, or cancer etc. One game will do f*** all man!!! Other supporters have Yeah, but I haven't, so no need to label me with that. So your answer is "no, I won't miss one game"?

  16. He's missing this point. Deliberately or stupidly, I'm not sure.
  17. School holidays isn't it. Explains a lot.
  18. OK, put aside the 'get him to leave' argument then. What are we supposed to be supporting? The shell of NUFC is surface level only, inside it's possessed by Mike Ashley. All the things that clubs are supposed to represent, it no longer represents. It's actively against most of them. The players on the pitch deserve our support, the likes of Ritchie and Lascelles have run through brick walls for us in recent seasons. We've also got a brand new manager who's walked into a complete mess who deserves our supoort this is some of the least joined-up thinking ive ever read some professional athletes have run about a bit and steve bruce has walked into a terrible situation with his eyes wide open, so they deserve our support I'm not sure you quite understand what supporting a football club is about like You mean "football team", not club. Remember, don't support the regime.
  19. But the point you're missing is the fact that Seymour has already accepted that, because he wants to support the team, not the regime. He's happy to try to survive in the league. If we don't, he's happy to try and get promoted. If we don't, he's happy to try and avoid relegation. If we don't, he's happy to watch us against Lincoln and Bradford every week. It's not about success for him, it's about being able to cheer Jack Colback and make sure he plays well. I want more, I'd love to be more that just a club that fights relegation. But you're right, I have accepted this is the position that we are currently at. I'm very happy for you. I look forward to your positive contributions in any match threads where you're unable to go to the game.
  20. Calling me a cancer If 45k+ are cancers to the club then why not go to the ground and tell them all that then? Why not do something about it to get rid off these 45k+ cancers? If I felt as strongly as you and I thought boycotting would get rid of him, then I certainly would. Why not do something about the fans going to the ground? Fucking hell man, why isn't it sinking in? PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO ACTIVELY TELL FANS WHO GO TO GAMES THAT BOYCOTTING (EVEN ONE GAME) MIGHT JUST MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR A START. Don't pretend that everyone on here is hiding behind a keyboard just trying to get at you. Plenty of people on here are actively involved in many different ways trying to get Ashley out of the club.

  22. Thick, selfish, spineless doormats. They’re as much of a problem as Ashley is, he knows it and relies on them continuing to willingly be s*** on whilst simultaneously stuffing cash into his pockets. If they can’t see it now then they never will, f*** them. If that's the way you feel, then let them know. Do something about it if the fans who are attending are just as bad as Ashley See individually that's impossible. Hence the reason why the campaigns are setup, social media is used etc But you know all of this. Is it? Why not get a great big group of you then? And then you can tell all those naughty fans for daring to go the football ground in which their football club play in. Why not get a great big cage at the turnstiles and stop every f***er from getting in, and then you have your dream of an empty stadium? Then Ashley, a guy 5000 miles away sat on a beach will definitely sell the club, honest. Well a large group is boycotting, and a large group are attempting to educate people, so not really sure what your point is? None of us dream of an empty stadium. We dream of enough people to boycott a single game to start to make a stand. But a lot of people have accepted the fact that Newcastle United (top 20 richest clubs in the world) are a yo-yo club, deliberately getting knocked out of cup competitions early in order to concentrate on the league. As people have said, if you've accepted that, you have absolutely ZERO right to moan, complain, boo etc about the club getting relegated every few years. A large group are educating people  I'm glad that you've split the team up like, very organised. So are you saying Rafa deliberately got knocked out of the cup then? ? Im sorry like but Ashley doesn't pick the team in cups, if we get knocked out in the first round it's got fuck all to do with Ashley and if we get to a final then it's got fuck all the do with Ashley either. The criticism/praise should be with Bruce. Wait wait wait, you surely realise when I say that a large group of people are attempting to educate people, I don't mean that there are people walking around town together yeah? I just mean that there are a lot of people, both IRL and social media, that are having the same conversations that people on here are having with dimwits like you.
