  1. Can’t bring myself to even have interest in this.
  2. I’m loving the fact I don’t even know when we’re playing these days. Switched off much easier than I thought. That said, I doubt i’ll watch much football at all this season.
  3. Great time to sell him though. He’d concede loads this season.
  4. If pardew and Bruce were in a car crash and only one of them survived, I wouldn’t be too bothered if it were pardew dancing out of the passenger seat. Just saying.
  5. People prefer Bruce's positivity about being a small club doing it's best to Rafa's negativity about being a big club not trying. Simple as that. Sadly, the old myth of "Newcastle fans would rather lose 4-3 than win 1-0" is slightly true with a lot of our fans.
  6. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1158875/newcastle-transfer-bid-steve-bruce-everton-james-mccarthy https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9598862/newcastle-steve-bruce-james-mccarthy-everton/ Genuinely thought he'd retired.
  7. So a Bristol City centre back is costing more than we paid for Almiron?
  8. So dubs, darlow, woody, blob, Turner Me thinks dubs and woody might be offski
  9. Remember fans, it’s hard to compete with the likes of Southampton and Sheffield United, but we need to aim for more than just staying up. With a bit of luck we might get into the 4th round of the league cup. Fucking small club mentality after 3 years of Rafa. Give me a season ticket now.
  10. Ahh, the days of pardew’s quotes flooding back....
  11. I really wanted pardew back. Only manager the fans wouldn’t support.
  12. Erm Joe Linton £40m less Jose £30m = £10m? Who else have we signed? Not counted them kids bit for joselu and well to throw in? wages off the bill etc. Wages off the bill don't count, only future wages. The Ashley way.
  13. Speaking of which, facebook (I know I know) people seem to think that Darlow is amazing
  14. Always hated him, useless pile of wank
  15. Has he impressed anyone? Seriously?
  16. He didnt want to come. Wanted to stay and get more experienced and mature as a player before going to the premier league. Apparently a year mainly on the bench has changed his mind! Looks like a great deal potentially. Read on a couple of forums he would suit a wing back role so we shall see. Wages yet to be met apparently. Weird as that is usually the first thing roughly sorted (albeit somewhat illegally). Cant see Dummett leaving. We need two natural left backs. I think he’d be better suited in a back 3. I don’t think his delivery will ever be at the level you would want for a wing back. The player he reminds me of most is Eric Abidal. How many of his 16 games of professional football have you watched in full? I’ve seen him 3 or 4 times and he played left back every time, didn’t get forward much.
  17. Right. 4-4-2 it is then.
  18. There’s something in this. I believe he actually wants to sell but the only person offering him the terms he wants doesn’t have the money. I suspect he’ll drop the price now.
