  1. Well there you go, already got 36000 people who are capable of protests and attacks on his business interests. How's that going? What have you done personally, out of interest?
  2. Just to echo what's already been said though, the only thing I ever look forward to about a Newcastle match now is the chat on here.
  3. These things take time, especially when your manager is deliberately sabotaging the club by refusing to sign a shiny new contract. If we just signed in we'd spend gazillions. Oh, and there might be a takeover happening, let's get that deadline out the way.
  4. Maybe if we borrowed Wembley next season we might see more home wins.
  5. This month is as pivotal as summer was. As January before that, and summer before that. And the previous 8 1/2 years before that. We're always waiting for something to change, hoping, crossing fingers, thinking "he MUST see it soon, right?". Well no. What you're going to find is Rafa walking away, half of the SJP fans breathing a sigh of relief that we might start playing 2 up front, the other half wondering what sort of football Rodgers or Hughes will try. All with the thought "Mike will back this guy, he's seen what happens when he doesn't". You think protests and discontent will start ramping up in February? Really? The worst (best) we'll see is fans in the ground booing Rafa and Perez after another 1-0 loss.
  6. Would you join in a boycott though, or do you think it's pointless? That is a great question, I thought the 11 minute walk in was pointless and had no intention of ever taking part in that but, I was seriously considering the Wolves boycott. If another boycott was planned I would easily be able to miss a game as long as the boycott was planned properly and had majority support behind it. If only a few people take part then it is a waste of everyones time! How would you know that the majority support it? That's the problem, too many fans saying "well I doubt anyone else will do it so neither will I". Just take the risk, miss a game (you won't lose your seat). If you truly feel that fans in the ground won't get involved then personally I feel those fans are welcome to the club. Deserve everything they get.
  7. Would you join in a boycott though, or do you think it's pointless?
  8. Klopp pretty much said that today No he didn't. Ok, he said that he’s not the player they bought, yet. Better?
  9. At least it's some transfer news to read. Wait another week and we might get another story about a player not coming here.
  10. Wow...gullible much? Dunno what you mean? Simply playing devils advocate I don't really get angry anymore about our situation I am not a billionaire I therefore cannot do anything about it. Very poor analogy but if i owned a sandwich bar and made myself a meal with the shops resources do I put the money in the till or do I think I own the place I would only be paying myself. Poor example which is why I said he looks after his top brand SD first even if it is to the massive detrement to the club. Never once said I believed any of the propaganda pumped out by the club or its representatives. If he owned a sandwich bar (SD) and took bread from a bakery he owned (NUFC) for free to make his sandwiches, causing the bakery to end up with sub-standard staff and equipment, there's a problem. But as you say, nothing we can do about it other than turn up and pay for sandwiches made of shit Spanish chorizo, and complain non-stop to other customers whilst handing our cash over.
  11. I don't think there's any doubt that this kid is certainly our next Shearer. We're gonna be ace.
  12. Didn't take that much to get it to blow over did it. Bishop - Don't worry Mike, it'll all blow over. Fans - Nah, no chance. Mike - hey guys, there's a takeover. Fans - ace, we'll leave you to get on with it then, thanks Mike.
  13. Genuinely looking forward to February. Fuck it, looking forward to summer actually.
  14. Fucking Woolworths bargain bin shopping
  15. And another excuse not to sign anyone. Bishop bingo.
  16. Like I predicted last week. Too easy this.
  17. Any dodgy penalty decisions been given their way in the last few matches?
  18. Any of their big name players been injured yet?
  19. Think is, look at the chances for both teams, it could have been 6-2 to City quite easily. Liverpool were lucky. They’ve been lucky all season, which is usually a good pointer as to who is gonna win the league. If that goal line decision was on the sideline a throw in would have been given though, so guess they were unlucky there.
  20. Stopped reading at ‘could score’
  21. It hasn’t though. The fee is completely irrelevant. Clubs now have £100m to spend rather than £20m so fees have got up x5. What’s ‘gone’ is our desire to compete.
  22. Correct. Exactly why valuations are coming in at £200m. Even that is too high imo.
