  1. By the way NE5, I voted no. Remember that in 5 years time when you claim I backed him like everyone else but you
  2. Ahh ok. Makes sense now. Explain it for me anyway. Firstly, point out where all the money from European qualification and full stadiums went. Secondly, point me to the bank who would lend us the £50m it would take to turn this club around.
  3. It's closed. We've signed Taylor today.
  4. Wow, chomp indeed. I just find it funny that you give up on the club every single f***ing season, despite being a "genuine fan". If you really support the club, you'd stick by them even in the conference. Unlike you I don't have another team to support and while I threaten to jack it all in from time to time (who seriously hasn't?), I'm still here and will always support the club. Keep playing that card, makes you look hard I've not threatened to jack it in at all, despite not even being from Newcastle. Surely it's easier for me to give up on the club than you? However, I'm still here, hero Seriously I'm just not in the mood for it, I'm aware I'm acting a twat and biting but I can't help it at the moment, I just feel real shitty where NUFC is concerned. Like I said helplessness and bitter really. I see all that is happening to us and how bad it all is, and there is fuck all I can do about it other than vent my spleen on here so I'm afraid people will just have to excuse me for that, or not. You should try Southend on a snowy Tuesday night mate
  5. like you kicked up a fuss when people protested about the board who gave you regular european football for the only time in your life. Morons mackems.gif Yeah, you know, like people who think you can carry on ramping up the credit without ever having to pay the bill. with your usual hindsight, do you still think Ashley is better than the last owner ? I'll answer that. No. They're both shit. thats the sort of logic that should tell you that you will never learn. Manwhile, some of us will have to wait for the next owner to serve up regular european football, champions League, capacity crowds and a couple of Cup Finals. I genuinely hope we aren't waiting too long. Your first line doesn't even make sense. As for the second line, FS wasn't given us that towards the end anyway.
  6. Me, for one. Good for you. I won't lie, there have been a few times when I've thought about sacking football altogether, most of it is hissy fits, moments of melodrama etc. on my behalf, push comes to shove though I could never do it, I actually wish I could. Save a lot of fucking hassle and tears. How's the coaching of juniors going? Any future Newcastle players?

  8. We've spent nothing over the 4 windows because of all the shite that we bought over the last 12! Oh I see, thats the reason Erm, yeah.

  10. OK, I realise people are pissed off, but why has the finances thread been forgotten? The club is losing £20m a season. How exactly is Ashely pocketing cash? It's not.. Just a paper "loss".. OK, Ashley is putting £20m a year in to cover wages. Better? Nope, we made a loss due to player amortisation. Means nothing in terms of cash flow. So our income without transfers is greater than our outgoings without transfers?
  11. Yeah, that won't necessarily happen. Charlton Norwich Southampton Watford Derby Are these not teams who have recently been in the PL? Are all these teams not fighting relegation from the CCC? It was kind of tongue in cheek. As I stated in another thread, only stable clubs win promotion. We're far from it.

  13. Aye it did us the world of good against the mackems, Liverpool, Stoke and all those others games where we've either lost or failed to win. Supporting the team goes without saying and happens every single game home and away either in turnout or voice and often both. Another good suggestion... Oh, wait.

  15. Perhaps every fan could turn up at training with some boots and show JK that he doesn't need to carry on picking Nicky Butt?
  16. So to answer the question, it's a no? HTT, isn't it your monthly time to walk out on the club anyway?

    Ryan Taylor

Yay for totally missing the point Unless we can use that money to bribe the Premier League into giving us some free points, I don't see how it helps us. Club's being run more responsibly dont you know I'm not so sure it is tbh. As I said elsewhere, he's taking a massive gamble here. If it comes off, will it give Shearer more to spend in summer?
  18. Why are people obsessed with this? It's about the squad improving rather than the money spent. We've spent millions on utter shit over the years and we're paying for it now. I agree btw. I'm not really arsed about net spend so to speak, more so on the quality of player coming. No matter how much or how little they cost. And that's the bigger issue. Neither Wise or Kinnear have the quality to purchase first teamers.

  20. Perhaps we could all put £1000 in and run the club for 3 months?
