The only thing that worries me is they are basing that assumption on us staying in the Premiership. Which part? The £7 million? For next season aye. As I believe we're around £20 million in debt now? I could be wrong but I thought the predicted £7 million loss was for this season now, with the £20 million loss being in the last set of accounts which were up to the Summer of 2008. I could be wrong on that one though. Or I could have completely read the situation wrong and will admit that, and that would have been that. But you got your point scoring in there so well done. How is that point scoring? With your I could be wrong on that point though remark. What actually happened to you? You've been overtaken with paranoia

Is Martins leaving? Possibly - even if he doesn't he never plays a full season. Even if he doesn't you can't get by with two good strikers + dross. Beckford, Sharp and Keogh. That'll win us the Championship no probs

Nope, not at all. The funny thing is, I've agreed with 80% of what you've said over the years on forums. My difficulty with you is not a footballing disagreement, it's more the fact that I'd have a hell of a lot more respect for you if you gave straight answers and acknowledge that other people have opinions. -

you don't understand the principle I've outlined ? I'll answer for you. Nothing. I see. You don't understand the point/hypocrisy about odious people then which I knew mandiarse wouldn't answer. Souness has nothing to do with the current discussion. Stick to the topic at hand and people might consider taking you seriously. you mean like when I said long before you and everybody else that Ashley was ruining the club ? I'm assuming that's all you're looking for? I'd far rather people like you saw sense, to be honest. I've said numerous times that we needed to spend money. I've said numerous times that the current approach isn't going to work. I've said numerous times that we "could" be better off without Ashley. What I won't admit though is that we weren't going in the same direction, albeit via a different path, under Shepherd. You constantly talk about proof, yet you fail to acknowledge the fact that we were in FACT going backwards. Nobody disagrees with you that for a few years things were better under the Halls and Shepherd, yet you constantly argue that everyone on this board thinks that Ashley is the greatest owner ever. Why? Well, I don't agree. Because I think if you back your managers, keep the stadium filled and the revenue coming in, you can get back onto the right road, but if you don't back your managers you've got no chance, because the other things will fall away. Looking at what you've said above, I don't see your problem anyway and you should be stalking someone else. Somebody who is clueless and still backing Ashley in fact. Who is still backing Ashley, and I'll make them my next project why don't you ask the numerous people who are defending everything he does ? I would, but I'm yet to see that they actually exist. Make it easier, and name names. Who here defends everything he does? there are lots of people on here still supporting what he is doing and believing in what he is doing and you don't need me to point them out. Are they the same people who are supporting EVERYTHING hs is doing? 1 name would do... Baggio? Mick? -
I always thought they had to blow for full time/half time when the ball was in a neutral position, or in a position where theres no chance either side could score immediately. Was surprised the full time whistle was blown last night just after Ronaldo's last free kick had been saved, I would have guessed they would have played on until it had been cleared. I don't know if it's been changed in recent seasons but the rule used to be that the ball had to be in play for the game to end and as a goal kick or free kick is taken to restart the game then technically the ref can't blow the final whistle until after the kick has been taken. The opposite occurs in rugby where the game can't only end with the ball in play. No, the rules haven't been like that. Only penalties have to be taken before the referee can blow the final whistle. Free kicks, throw ins and goal kicks does not have to be taken. Fair enough it was just my understanding, I've played in hundreds of games, pro and semi pro and watched hundreds more and I've noticed the referee blow the full or half time whistle with the ball out of play. Who did you play pro for? He's played Pro-Evo he means... FIFA maybe........ Millwall in reality though Interesting. I'm mates with Ben May, did you play whilst he was there?

Your first statement Coco. This was my first statement: "Who says there'll be losses? If this move gets attendances up to around 50,000 there would be no loss from this season." What's so bad about it? I meant this one "Newcastle drop season ticket prices, Newcastle fans complain, couldn't f***ing make it up, some of you are clowns." Aye, well done then they also announce that Kinnear will be staying on if his health is ok which they except it will be. Give with one hand take with the other. And tbh i would pay more for a season ticket if i knew we would get some progress. And by progress i dont mean finishing 3rd or summik daft like that. So if we buy a few £20m players in summer, then have to put the price up to cover the cost, you wouldn't start a thread on here stating that they're not managing the club correctly? You'd be one of the first to complain tbh.

Is the top 4 too far to reach?

Colo was pretty poor in his first season for Depo too.

Did Martin Taylor get an extended ban? no, but his challenge wasn't as bad as Nolan's for me. For one, Taylor didn't go in two footed, in fact it was simply mistimed and down to Eduardo's pace/trickery more than owt else http://images.tvnz.co.nz/tvnz_images/sport/soccer/taylor_eduardo_tackle_d.jpg Over the ball. Both as bad imo.

they are all absolutely correct, but you can bet that a few particular people on here would tell you whatever Mike Ashley does is wonderful, even if we get relegated and end up like Sheff Wed they will still think he's doing all the right things for the club and so long as he doesn't "embarrass them" [whatever that means, poor dears] he will be just, er, great. Link? -
Wouldn't Shearer or Martins be a more appropriate debate?

I don't think the Villa fans would complain about parting with the 12m either...OR MON..! It was NOT a brilliant deal for NUFC because the money was not properly re-invested in the side..having said that, MON is getting far more out of Milner than NUFC ever did, simply because he is a better manager than NUFC have had(with the POSSIBLE exception of KK, but MON has won things as a manager and KK has not - promotions excepted). I think £12m in £50 notes would put a better cross in than Milner for us though. Worth a try at least.
