Newcastle have ended their interest in Wigans Charlie NZogbia while Chelseas £20million Dan Sturridge although he has admirers at St James Park is not a serious target. Now £10 million on Sturridge would be a great investment imho as the Ashley mandate is to buy and sell at a profit and could be worth £30 million at the end of next season if he keeps improving ,so worth a punt and i would be happy him wearing the no 9 shirt . So we should buy £20m rated Sturridge for £10m. Why didn't Ashley think of that? I think we should buy him for £2m. Imagine the sell on value then!!!

Hasn't harmed the current right back tbf

Replacing Routledge in the squad. Still room for Zoggy, have no fear.

Cant imagine Barnetta will come cheap. Bayer have just qualified for the Champions League. 1 year remaining on his contract. What a surprise. I'd rather we target these players, rather than blowing all of our money on a player who is under a long contract, hence costing 4 times more. No?

Anyone gone back to the start of this thread? You'd think people would be delighted just to get rid of him.
-
If I had time, I'd do a search for the amount of people who have posted on the match day threads saying how shit Nolan is, and then cross-reference those posts with the posts in here saying that we couldn't possibly let him go. Do people want us to keep him and keep him in the dressing room??
-
A 1 in 2 goalscoring record? Really?
-
Snodgrass is about as quick as Nolan. He's a championship player, nothing more.
-
There isn't a chance in hell that we're signing Sow.
-
How so? If we're in the running for him of course I don't see how we can compete with Spurs at present, they're miles ahead of us. And isn't that what everyone says when people complain about spending f*** all anyway? I think we're in for him, but it seems odd Lille said Spurs are the only club to have made a bid. I wouldn't say it's the end of the line but it makes a difficult task that little bit harder. The quote could have been referring solely to Spuds, as in first contact from them, he never said first contact from anyone. Lost in translation maybe. Nope, definitely means and says that this was the first official offer they've received for Gervinho up to now. Which is bollocks.
-
Not heard anything new about this, but I personally think he's gonna go to Arsenal.
-
Anderson, I didn't mean it like that. The story said we would only go for gervinho if we didn't get gameiro. I just know that's not true, we are 100% going for gervinho. No idea about gameiro, I've heard nothing.
-
We have 100% offered him terms. No other club have, fact. His agent is trying to get other clubs involved.
-
How come "most" people on here think that Nolan is shit until the opportunity comes along to criticise the current owner/chairman? I hope to god that Nolan isn't still in our first team in 2013!!

Van Persie is nearly 6 foot 3. Yeah, not that tall is he.
-
Is that because he is championship manager level? Of course. Obviously seen as a gamble by a lot of clubs. Preston employed Phil Brown, Sheffield United took on Micky fucking Adams and Scunthorpe that Knill bloke - look what happened, they got relegated. Palace went for Dougie Freedman instead of Hughton, poor bloke must be wondering what he has to do to get a job ... Scunthorpe took Knill because of the money. Low wages, didn't demand much in terms of a transfer kitty, and has a history of finding free/cheap bargain. Scunthorpe didn't go down because they appointed Knill, they went down because they refused to keep their best players the previous summer. Absolute zero chance that someone like Hughton would go to manage Scunthope.

Which of our two "signings" so far have been black out of interest?

My first bit of ITK for ages, and my last for probably the same amount of time, but this whole either/or thing is nonsense. We're after both.
