As long as the club can afford it, it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm not sure it says anything in the article about not being able to sign other players if Owen is paid that amount of money. Love it how people on here go on about how much a player is paid, when in reality it makes very little difference to us. I imagine if Martins was asking for £140k then people on here would be saying that it's not enough.

What happened? Got kicked out the ground and ticket taken off me for standing waiting for people at the bottom of the stairs. Steward was a cunt, basically picked me up and through me out, then after i had a go at him the police took me away Got another ticket and was then taken away by the police again. They nearly broke my fuckin arms carryin me away. I am looking for somewhere to report the steward, but even after finding the head policeman, he couldn't do anything. Any advice ? Cut down on the drink and respect your elders? Hardly touched any drink at all. I do respect my elders, but when they think they are mint infront of kids and grab you by the neck from behind for no reason at all except stading there and kickin your legs to get you to move. Fucking cunt. And aparently the police can't do anything because on match days the stewards " are in charge ". I was absaloutly foaming. Then when i went back the second time, i was told to reason with the steward, who then pinned me up against the wall and called for back up Wtf man, you can't win at that place. Never going back again I'm sure you were extremely polite, like all idiots who are kicked out of grounds.

Funny that the people on here who treat Keegan like a God should doubt his judgement on the keeper he picks. Odd really.

What actually is the rule? His arm wasn't in the flight of the ball until he moved it there, which stopped the ball getting into the box. Surely it doesn't need the player to come out and punch the thing before it becomes a handball?

Not nervous at all, but very excited. For the second year on the trot I'll be watching the game with Man United fans (I was at OT last season in amongst their lot) but for once I'm not expecting an absolute hammering. I'm sure we'll lose, but I think we'll take more pride than usual.

Rest of the side looks pretty good though, especially defense and the wings. Funny that everyone in the world saw that our central midfield was awful, yet we've only brought Guthrie in to try and change things. Waiting patiently for the "big" signing though.
