And if you do, I’m living proof you will still survive. My advice to new members would be to start making Yorkie pudding pizzas and massive posts.mdid me no harm...

There really isn't a clique. People with similar views on some things, for certain but the same people share differing views on complex subjects in the Chat section. Anyone that comes onto this board and is constructive and makes sensible, reasoned arguments will fit in very well. Anyone that comes here and posts relentless nonsense, full of bluster, abuse, bullshit and contradictions and thinks they're better than everyone else will rightly be torn to shreds. One of the great strengths of this forum.

True ITK doesn’t post what they’re told on internet forums.

George is reliable, and a great writer and top bloke, but you have to understand he is reporting what he is being told by the buyer.'s side And the buyer is telling him these things because the buyer wants these things into the public domain. He has a direct line to the buyers side, and they know that. He hasn't secretly infiltrated their camp to relay confidential business.
-
Nah, just nothing to report and fatigue as pretty much everything to be said on it has been said. Something as big as this won't go out under embargo, would never hold.

The proof will be in the eating. The pudding could yet be rank, out of date and stale. The proof is never in the pudding.

The club already has the plans made. Apologies as my legal and technical knowledge isn’t great but was told by someone in the know who deals with planning. They did them as a PR stunt it would seem as they were submitted to the club. The club then ask for some changes and they were able to bill them in full again with minor changes due to time lapse. This happened on more than one occasion to the delight of the architect. So when Ashley was offering up plans for the future he had no intention of doing anything with them but they should be there and available for someone else to use according to what I was told. This is normal, changing your plans once you have contracts to build placed is normal, the new building would have gone ahead had we not been relegated. It wasn't a PR stunt, you don't spend that much money on something like this as a PR stunt. In fact you don't do something like this at all as a PR stunt. A PR stunt would have been some high level feasibility study with some shiny looking images but then not doing any further work. But those approved plans were limited by the current site, and are out dated now already. And the planning permission has expired.

And even that is an over simplification which misses out a few key stages.

We're talking about ambassadorial roles, going to functions and events here and in China, Australia, USA etc. and representing the club, promoting the brand. It's what most big clubs do with ex players etc. Man United for example have Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Charlton, Gary Neville, Andy Cole, Bryan Robson, Peter Schmeichel, Park Ji-Sung and Nemanja Vidic in this type of role. Jonas in this type of role promoting Newcastle United in South America would be wonderful.

Not all staff were.

Wait until the Saudi's take control - will be a lot more than deleting a few images.

That is photoshopped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it depends on your faith in our fan base. If I knew it was going to be people like yourself that don’t embarrass us in public then I doubt there would be any concerns. Certainly not in my mind. The devils advocate in me would suggest that it could turn out to be a bit of a car crash On a more serious note it’s dragging fans into politics and I’m not so sure that’s a good thing. Especially when our defence (including your own on Radio which I agreed with) is that we don’t have a say in who owns the club. I dont think the entire conversation is going to be based on human rights. I assume alot of it is going to be about what the local area could gain from a takeover too. I understand what you are saying and appreciate it. Some may argue that what is does or doesn’t do for the local area is also politics. It certainly isn’t about football. Why else would there be any need for the MP of Newcastle running it. Chi set up the event as the MP for Newcastle Central which incorporates Newcastle United within her constituency. She wants to understand fan opinion - she would usually do that by going around talking to people, e.g. on match days or hosting events in town (which she has done before on topical NUFC issues) but can't do any of that due to COVID19.
-
Why would you only talk about something topical after it has happened? When we as fans are being hammered in the media by some? Why does the deal going through make a difference? The prospective deal is a national talking point right now. Deal or no deal. This is newsworthy now and being discussed at a national level now and a lot of that coverage has been very one sided.
-
Close down all the media. In fact close down the forum then. Better not talk about it at all.

You will hear my dulcet tones for 5 minutes at the start. I prefer my spelling if the word here. Sorry - wasn't picking you up on spelling. Just pointing out that I will be giving a 5 minute speech at the start of the event.

What continued support of Ashley? NUST has been highly critical of Ashley, but did continue to represent those of its members that still attend games (majority). It is an organisation that represents its members nobody else. It has to operate in certain way in line with its constitute and rules, as a formally constructed and constituted organisation it has to operate in a certain way. NUST was also responsible for establishment of some of the more recent protest movements.
