100%. The Council made the right decision from a planning perspective when weighing up the benefits vs the harm. The committee however could have played politics to delay it - but it would have come at significant cost of needed to defend an appeal they would have no chance of winning. The only works that have started on site are ground investigation works - if these guys have big pockets which they clearly do if they wanted to I'm sure they could buy the lease and then develop their own plans.

Spoke to the BBC about this - I am a little conflicted here and don't think I've quite settled my own view yet. Full link https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52302094

Knew f*** all until twitter pointed out the CH changes, then it’s now direct sources. This was submitted 6 days ago, sure his direct sources would have said something then. Err you know that's how it works? He isn't an investigative journalist - something comes out - they check their source and relay what their told (could still be a load of crap as the source may be wrong). What the else do you expect from a SSN presenter?

Seriously, stop it with these kinds of posts. You did the same in the Transfer Rumours thread as well. Post your source when saying things like that. I didn’t have the link at hand and couldn’t remember who said. Calm down ffs there’s worse things going on than me not posting a source Kinda agree with Nobody here. Why post it at that time? Maybe post it when its fresh in your mind or later when you have a source? "There's worse things..." Is a bit of a silly response. Of course there is, there will always be "worse things" but try to understand that this is an emotive subject for many and posting something that many would be interested in with nothing behind it is going to get attention. Much like having a conversation, you don't have to blurt out every thought or memory you have. Not attacking, we are all friends here, just perhaps putting things into context Are you 2 the forum police or something? He can post whatever he likes, with or without a link. If it upsets people, then they might want to take a look at themselves, and take a step back from believing everything they read. Yes, Nobody is one of the forum police. https://www.newcastle-online.org/forum/index.php?topic=40762.0

Just a journo speculating.

Was that the Reading one in his first game? That was lols. I can't remember who against but yeah think his first game. But agree with you - he is a very dependable back up.
-
Yes he has had a few bad games, and given away at least one totally stupid penalty for example.
-
I like him, but don't want him starting very often but a very capable back up centre half. He is a threat in the opposition box and chips in with a few goals. For where we are as a club he is as good as you get for a back up centre back.

Can play but don't have time to prepare it again - life has gone a bit crazy at the moment and struggling a bit.

Been busy. Will do it when I can.

Wonder if Charney will be furloughed. He isn't first team. None of the 'senior management team' are being furloughed.
-
Good idea. Will do that tomorrow.
