Now. Been to see a specialist in LA. Sounds like he might be back for Preston if things go well. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him again this season tbh.
-
Maybe he was just rusty. I hope so. He was caught out of position time and time again (not only when they get in behind and scored) it was worrying. Or just an off day. He was fine away at Huddersfield.
-
Shame Anita was so fucking shite against Fulham. He'd looked perfectly capable at right back earlier in the season but Yedlin has clearly been a miss since he got injured.

Pre-match lobster. Can't wait.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Hyperbole. We've lost once in the last 12 games league games. We would have to go on an abysmal run, not seen this season so far, for that to happen. -
In existing stadiums without major work this is very much the case, mainly due to access route and vomitory sizes along and emergency evacuation.

You are in cloud cook cuckoo land if you think that is even remotely possible. The two major blockers are: 1) cost of a brand new stadium is prohibitive unless you build a relatively small identikit flat pack stadium. 2) you would never get planning consent to build a new stadium on Leazes Park or the Town Moor. Bearing in mind I made my thoughts on this pretty clear in that it is neither wanted or likely as it was just a basic idea off the top of my head. Having thought about it though off the back of your unnecessary slight about where my mental state is. Maybe I am a fruit cake, maybe im not but if someone with money and clout wanted it, it would happen. Simple as. Nee blockers, nee nowt. The welly wearing tree huggers went round the toon years ago with their petition about no business on the town moor, well since all this time has passed, there has been plenty of 'business' done on the land that we were going to extend onto which wasn't the town moor but hunters moor. That business being a student walk across and cows shitting until the cows come home. Alternatively, a lower bowl safe standing level could easily take the attendance close to 60,000 at the existing St James' Doesn't work like that.

Think you are getting a bit confused between the Middle East and the Far East.

Yes 43 points away from home last time. West Brom in second got 40. 42 so far this time with 4 more to play.

What rubbish is this? He was moving his feet across the goal in the direction of play but Kante quickly went and hit it towards opposite way - it was simply too late to move your feet back the other way. It's not rubbish at all, he was moving his feet across goal because he tried to read Kante and thought he would continue the play and pass in that direction, early shot caught him out and therefore he hadn't set a base and wasn't able to dive until it was too late. Goalkeepers constantly have to re-set their base in preparation for action, he was caught out (as many keepers would be but De Gea is one of the best so held to very high standards). If he anticipates the shot he saves it (as he probably would have done had it been any other Chelsea attacking player on the ball other than Kante in that situation).
-
De Gea should save that. Wasn't set and ready as he wasn't expecting him to shoot.

Phil Neville didn't get the pocket square memo.

Club have made representation to the Premier League to request that we don't have to (if we go up) on safety grounds. -
Why does that make a difference to his point about tactics?
-
He's only using to show a formation as a graphic tbh.

It's one of the problems, we are hampered by injuries to Hayden and Yedlin and all in all our squad is nowhere near as good as many seem to think it is. I think the players are also still very nervous and apprehensive when playing at home in front of 50,000 moans and groans at every single misplaced pass.
-
We didn't, our back line was far too close to Darlow for too much of the game because we had no movement, we seemed to push them further back once they scored their second goal and that was probably them going back slightly to protect the lead. We had virtually the whole of the Fulham half in which to hit the ball for somebody to run onto and we couldn't even do that. We either sent it out of play or we hit one of their players because we had no movement in the middle of the park. It was clearly the game plan from the off, but Colback and Dummett either weren't following or not capable of executing this. First 10 mins we tried to press high but it didn't work because only Gayle, Diame, Atsu and Ritchie were doing it and we just fell apart. This type of press only works if the whole team is in on it, we were so disjointed it was a mess and made it easy for Cairney to run the show between the lines.
-
The plan was clearly to press high and then get early balls over the top and Gayle in behind. It was executed appallingly.
-
The unhelpful moans and groans no worse than what comes from the rest of the ground.
-
Told some of our fans in the East Stand to fuck off during the first half yesterday.
-
No way. Basically gave them their second on a plate.
-
Absolute stinker. Caught out of position time and time again.
-
No it isn't. The likes of Huddersfield have gone from relegation fodder to promotion contenders overnight without actually doing anything. It's a poor league and nobody can convince me otherwise. Horseshit.
