  2. Saw a stat on F365 today that the top six played 30 players at the weekend with a price tag of £15m+ and not a single one played for Spurs. Didn't Son Heung-min cost about £22M?
  3. It's absolutely true. It was weird that he was at the game. He's probably been itching like a motherfucker looking for a way to get his Bobby Hill head back in our minds. Keith Bishop there too which I thought was odd. Guess we'll find out soon. Bishop attends pretty much every game. Often on my train up from London for home games.
  4. We also got relegated mate More to do with the joke managers really, rather than the quality of players we had on the whole. Not entirely. The entire club was toxic, that wasn't only down to the clowns in the dugout. The make-up of the squad and recruitment of players also played a big part in create the awful atmosphere within the dressing room.
  5. Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez told BBC Newcastle: "It was a difficult game from the start against a difficult team. We knew that they play good football here, but I think we started well. "We needed to work hard in defence to ensure we didn't concede. But we did at the beginning of the second half after losing one player and then another and another after that. "Then we had to keep reacting and it was a very good goal by Daryl Murphy, which we have to enjoy as it was very difficult to get three points. "To stay at the top of the Championship, we have to work hard in every single game."
  6. Good strikers don't go to Championship clubs to not even get on the bench every week.

  9. Just rested completely, I think. His Mrs had a baby this morning as well.

Has that happened? Embarrassing if so. Mind you he does look an utter waste of time. If it's purely a confidence thing he must be extremely weak of mind. Extremely weak of mind ffs. I can't say I'd perform at my best if I fucked up and then had thousands of people telling me that I'm shit. Whey he's not going to be a quality goalkeeper if he's the same. That's not really the point. When it's your own fans exasperating it, and even so, there are very, very few players who would still be at their best with their own fans telling them that they're shit. Even the best have caved in those circumstances. What stick is he getting though bar the usual Twitter numpties? Worst I've heard at matches is the usual groans after every failed flap. Wasn't at Birmingham yesterday like. He'll have heard some of the abuse directed at home from individuals in the away end yesterday. The Darlow song was sang at him briefly but most of the away end didn't join in.
  11. The second division, which has 9 clubs.
  12. Zola, Vialli, Ravenelli, Di Canio, Carbone etc.

It was atrocious yesterday I watched the same warm up and after his first practice kick, every one was basically fired straight at the fat bloke with grey hair. And his saving and handling in the warm up was perfect as well. I'm not ready to write him off yet, he had a great reputation and has a great physique for goalkeeping. Which is not to say that that cross yesterday and goal against Hull don't still make my blood boil. When he was practicing his kicking, to Darlow not Simon Smith (the 'keeper coach who was laying them off for him), he was awful.
  14. Quite a lot of empty seats at White Hart Lane, you would think some of their alleged 100,000 on the season ticket waiting list would like to go to a game.
  15. He was wearing studs not blades.

I was in early yesterday and his kicking in the warm up, under no pressure at all, was absolutely shocking.
  18. People keep commenting on this but pretty sure it is standard protocol / rules now that any player going off on a stretcher, regardless of their injury, gets oxygen.
