Stones plays for Manchester City. Everton are a bigger club than Man City but not one of the England / media darling clubs where crap players get England call ups all the time i.e. Man United.

Is that meant to be a compliment? Of course! Considering John Stones isn't that good, I wouldn't say it is. The problem is Stones will get England calls, not because he's the best option, but because of the team he plays for. Which is why England struggles I believe Why did he get picked when he played for Everton then?
