  1. Yet created our best chance other than goal. Some nice passing today but a few mistakes. Going to happen. Great prospect.
  2. And I don't blame him either. It's ridiculous how often the team just flings things in his general direction. However, as a number 9 he is actually a target man. I would expect him to have some sort of hold up play but he has none! He's a ton better when it is being played into his feet, and his hold up and link up is really good when that happens. Launching it at his dome from 50 yards is ridiculous. His hold up play is non existent. You are talking crap! He's not a centre forward and has never had to play with his back to goal and hold up the ball in his life. What the hell do you expect? Not his fault.
  3. The sad thing is it seems to be his work rate rather than anything else that he rates. Sticking with him in the first XI and kept him on today because he ran a lot. If he played in his true position we might get more glimpses of what he’s actually about. Agreed.
  4. Yet he was instrumental to our end of season form. He's no perfect, no one of our players are but there is definately a more than good enough player in there.
  5. Don’t agree with that at all, he let Newcastle off with loads of stuff. Yep. Giving Wolves corners when they were clearly goal kicks and giving them a goal kick when we should have had a corner. A soft red card, gave them another minute and half of extra time when they took up the final 10 seconds checking to see how they could give them a penalty. Think you might need a trip to the opticians mate.
  6. If you don't understand why that wasn't overturned you must have been living in a cave for the last few months. You are really being a dick today I understand it has to be a clear and obvious error or whatever, I’m just saying that it looks a bit silly when the replay clearly shows a foul. This place brings out that side of me sometimes. Well quite often.
  7. It's clearly a lack of confidence and playing for a manager that doesn't coach the team. Decent player in there.

  10. One of those that will almost always go with whatever on field referee decided.
  11. It’s the sort of tackle you make where you don’t want to hurt yourself. Easy to use going for the ball as an excuse. Nonsense. https://twitter.com/mtkigz/status/1188480963673808897?s=21 That could have done his knee man. It wasn't at pace at all - it was the second part of the challenge. No real risk of harm other than a graze. Still pictures show nothing man.
  12. Because it wasn’t a red. Didn't see much complaining from our lot about it, Longstaff included. Also surely VAR checked it as well? Didn’t see any var check, might be wrong though. You can't always see a VAR check.

  14. Harsh but these days they are giving everything with studs up.
  15. Joelinton probably never had to play like this with his back to goal before in his life, no wonder he is struggling.
  16. His ball carrying at pace is great, and really gets us up the pitch. It is vital right now. But his end product has been poor and needs to improve. Sorry Greg it just read sad head down and go for it. Maybe if we had a decent manager then he could be moulded into something Without it we would be even worse - really helps us get up the pitch and stops Wolves defence from stepping up too far and taking greater control of the middle of the park.
