On Barrack Road.

We were fucking awful and I'm not quite sure how we managed to win, but we did. Hopefully Pardew is sacked tonight.

Just heard Pardew on the TV. Important performance, showed we were a strong team and have a lot of spirit. Very determined performance. Perfectly good goal, two chances in second half that we should have scored. Goal line technology will be good next year. We need a break, very unlucky. Now under pressure due to the Wigan result. Have to go to QPR and win, performance today gives us heart. Rob Eliott was excellent, helped having Colo in the team as he is a great player. We just have to try and win at QPR and see where that leaves us, not just me a little nervous now as others are being dragged into it. Reporting in press a disgrace. Only way we can answer is on the pitch and today should put that to bed. Lots of spirit and fight and we take it to QPR.

More that Colo / Mbiwa always play at left centre back and the manager will not change that. Other managers notice and set up their strikers accordingly, Pardew is seemingly not willing to do anything to counter such situations.

There's a tiny little greasy spoon type place just over the road from Central Station on Grainger Street, open very early. It's nowt special, but if you just want a fry up... Edit: Open from 7am. http://hotnitsa.typepad.com/blog/2011/11/the-townhouse-grainger-street-newcastle-.html Ah yea think I know it - they also sell tinnies as well don't they?! It's either that or the Cafe Royal, going by the Newcastle Restaurants thread. Don't think Cafe Royal is quite the right vibe for a pre-derby day feed. They appear to serve alcohol from 7.30am

This hotel in Faro is full of Toon fans, setting off for Lisbon shortly! -
Benfica fans seem certainly of a 5-0 victory on Thursday night.
-
to be fair mind Alan Shearer did that 206 times while playing for us. He didn't, I remember a dive and a sort of shooting thing against Blackburn.

You would rather have Simpson in the XI than Jonas? Fuck me. In defence, I certainly would. -

Done. 4-0 is enough? Yes. If you don't concede tonight.... then you are surely bound to on Thursday night! Although, I still think Benfica will win. 4-1 now. -
Oh he has made a miraculous recovery.
