  1. Well, without concrete evidence this is all very vague. It's a bit like the situation from the U21 game between England and Germany where English players accused a German player of racial abuse. But Emre certainly has some anger managment issues. He totally switches off when he is wound up. I spoke to a journalist who was in the tunnel during the post-match fracas at the Turkey vs. Switzerland for which Emre got his international ban. He described Emre as a total lunatic.
  2. Is the concept of looking things up on t'internet really so difficult to understand? It would help people to stop wild assumptions. Because Jankulovski is the defender who has played the most games for AC Milan so far this season. Maybe that is were the theory of getting him for 3-4m already falls into pieces... Same as for suggesting to go for van Buyten who only a couple of months ago went for 10.5m Euro to Bayern Munich. And people wonder why they get accused on making their suggestions based on computer games...

    Moore setback

Shame there is no World Cup in the summer for Moore to get fit and play well for...
  4. Erm, have you really seen him play? Tasci got his chance mainly because of the injury of Meira. He did alright for his age, but that is all about it. He certainly isn't ready for a move abroad.
  5. Buy-out clauses are compulsory in Spanish professional football. They are just normally set to ridiculous fees so that they don't come into effect.

    Hitzfeld

Said in an interview that he considered the offer from Dortmund but wasn't motivated enough as their target was only 5th spot this season and he didn't like the squad that would have been available to his disposal. http://kicker.de/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/artikel/359365/
  7. Sure. But I like you less for disagreeing with me, as I'M ALWAYS RIGHT tongue.gif If you are always right it is very sad times for Newcastle...think you should turn down the pessimism a bit...no offence. yes, I am always right. I could also be described as THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF YOU. Hmm, Leazesmag/NE5 claims to be infallible as well...
  8. If he is rather a supporting striker then I find his rather static play even more dubious tbh. blueconfused.gif But he isn't playing as a support striker as we have nobody up top to score goals. Yes, but he should have a bit of "natural" movement then. Running into channels, trying to make himself available etc. Even if he is played as an out and out striker. He looked less mobile than Alan Shearer in a couple of games.
  9. If he is rather a supporting striker then I find his rather static play even more dubious tbh. blueconfused.gif Its his first season, he is constantly getting used to new partners and he is still young. He is showing more than enough potential at the moment. All nice and fair, I give him that. Still no reason for his lack of mobility IMHO.

  11. Good to see him getting on the scoresheet. He really is starting to adapt, what is a positive sign. I am still not totally convinced though. He should unsettle the opposition with his pace far more than he is doing.
  12. We were struggling. Would you really have brought a player on who so far has avoided most physical challenges?
  13. Terracing is still allowed in Jormany. It's only in European games that all-seater stadiums are compulsory. So the standing areas in Jorman stadiums all have convertable seats, so that you theoretically could sit during an European match. But normally nobody bothers about sitting in these sections, and neither do the stewards trying to enforce it.
  14. Well, the problem I have with the atmosphere in Jormany is that it is mostly far too organised by the so-called Ultra groups who rather bother about themselves than about the game. Support should be something to accompany the match and bolster the team, but not the main focus. I hate it when the atmosphere is not spontanous, but rather like a choreography of cheerleaders.
  15. 3,25 euros for 1 Heineken ain't that bad, we pay about 6 euros in Denmark. 4,70 Euro for a pint of Guiness was ridiculous. They normally charge something like 3,50-4,00 Euro in Irish Pubs in Jormany.
  16. Cheers! 2 Litre glass that ye naa! I was pouring it into a smaller one like. Selling beer in two litre glasses is absolutely stupid anyway. Normally it has the temperature off piss if you are half way through...
  17. I'll have a look at the prices in O'Reillys when I have to pass Frankfurt the next time. I am pretty sure they raised beer prices by something like 1 Euro for this special occasion...

    Look at these Stats

Or top 5. Because in a scenario without Shola we would have someone else in the squad instead of him. This player probably would be fit more often and I can't see him being worse footballwise. The Duff and Rossi partnership certainly worked and everyone else we have tried up top has been banging them away. Yes, but those are not players we have "instead" of Ameobi. bluebigrazz.gif

  21. Well said ... ... until that we apparently apart from the game against Sheffield haven't played badly.
  22. Are there still people who don't get the concept of Tribalfootball? They do nothing else than publishing the gossip, mainly from the tabloids. So it is not a newssource itself but rather a bigger version of the BBC gossip column. So you will always get conflicting stories when there have been conflicting stories in different newspapers on the same day. And moaning about the quality of newsnow is as stupid as the website is doing nothing else than providing links to news sites.
