I think it will be interesting to see the job he does at West Brom next year when he can make some changes in the summer and have his first full summer transfer window. Mogga done a great job at Hibs and had them playing the most attractive football in the SPL.

Good old Murdo, nearly brought the "glory days" back to Dumbarton lol He was something like a "cult hero" for Dortmund and helped them winning their first trophy for over two decades. He lives in the same town as me, I know his daughters. Was doing a decent managerial job at Dumbarton but left to take over at Thistle, and then worked under Wim Jansen at Celtic but I think he pretty much just sticks to the commentary work now

Easy scapegoat tbh Whilst some of his tactics were poor, the performances from the majority of the team were piss poor.

The only 2 arguably better. Miguel is over-rated. I suppose you could include Deco in an overall assessment too. I would put that last 70 minutes of english football at the WC down to the players wanting it, not the managers great tactics. As is many of the England squad tbh..

Exactly. Look at Vidic last season, he was woeful, but has now been arguably one of the best defenders in the premiership this season. Its extremely hard to judge how good or bad Gooch actually is when hes playing alongside the likes of Bramble etc

The "Jocks" who are involved in Europe are Celtic in the Champions League and Rangers in the Uefa who both like us have qualified and are top of their respective groups, not bad for "mickey mouse" clubs Even Scotland are top of their European group in the European Championships, Scottish football isn't as big a shambles at the moment as many on here would have you believe.
