If Keegan has gone then it suddenly becomes an epic fail.

I wouldn't say no to Appiah given the crappiness of our holding midfield options.

Arsenal haven't won anything these last 4 or so years either. In the next few years Arsene is going to have to start spending big or else they'll fall right behind. That's how I feel. Someone made the point about us making two steps forwards at a time whilst other clubs are making four and that's really true. We're making good progress...we're just doing it far too slowly. You can't catch someone up by going slower than them.

I think it might take more than these 2 players to live with Arsenal for 90 minutes at the Emirates in that form. Take Owen and Martins (and Owen will get injured) and the whole team falls apart. Hopefully this Xisco kid will help out a little bit with this but the same thing applies to the rest of the squad. If Jonas gets injured we have no penetration from midfield. Either of our full backs get injured (and Enrique has done his hamstring in) we're having to move players out of position to fill in. It's not a case of me expecting us to have top quality all throughout the squad, but our back up players are such a drop in quality that the team can't cope when we miss our best players through injury. I hear you because with a lot of very nasty injuries you could end up with Butt, Geremi, Duff and Smith in midfield, which would be awful and a bit like the start of last season. Or just the middle of the season where we didn't win for like 3 months. I was stretching the point. Judging by the reactions of the Depor forums last night, i'm going to stick my neck out and say that Xisco could prove to be a better signing than Jonas. Yeah I'm hopeful he'll be another quality addition.

------------------------Given------------------------ Beye-----Colo-----------------Taylor---N'Zogbia -----------------------Butt--------------------------- -------------Guthrie------Jonas-------------------- --------------------Gonzales------------------------ --------------Xisco-------Owen--------------------- That's if Martins and Viduka aren't ready to return. Barton in for Butt if he's fit enough too and Guthrie to the holding role. We'll win. Probably some default score like 3-0.

We should be able to cope as long as we don't lose too many players at the same time, I hope so anyway. I can't even remember the last time we didn't have an injury hit season. Probably the last time KK was here.

The reason the Arsenal game spooked me is because it showed what our season will be like with a few injuries. This problem has barely been rectified.

The squad still isn't good enough or big enough so I'm not happy at all.

You need to get a job for the tabloids, only, you cannot dare criticize 'united' like that, so you'll just have to make up something about some other Northern team, perhaps ones that play in black and white Change it to: Manchester United have LIBERATED Berbatov from the OPPRESSIVE AND DOWN RIGHT DISGRACEFUL Tottenham Hotspurs who had the AUDACITY to reject a bid from our beloved...I mean Manchester United and even worse accept a bid from Manchester City. Man United are HIDING him before waiting for HUMAN RIGHTS representatives to arrive and free him from this SLAVERY.

I was watching the one labelled: Ignacio Gonzalez - MIDFIELD - DANUBIO (URU)

He does look very average on his youtube clips though tbf.

Carr coming back? Jenas and Ambrose.

They called him Sissoko once today.

Now they have something about Barton leaving.
-
Was it me or did SSN just say that this is official now?
-
Nah they did that story earlier. Said no charges will be pressed and he claimed he thought it was a non-alcoholic drink.
-
Still having his medical according to SSN.

SSN - Newcastle boosted by Smith and Ameobi staying. Cunts!
