Shame really as they might have been more relaxed for when we play them if the title race had ended today. Why does it matter? We can get up to 10th, big deal really. But, on the other hand, we can actually influence where the title goes and for me, I'd love it if the c***s in Manchester blow it. It would be an epic choke job. For them to blow it Chelsea would have to beat us though. I'm not hoping we lose. Never. But if we did lose, I wouldn't feel as bad as I normally would if Man Utd slip up against WH. I've said before, but when Man Utd and Liverpool lose, it feels almost as good as it feels when Newcastle win. I'm pretty devastated when we lose any game. I don't care about whether the trophy goes to Man Utd or Chelsea. They're both dispicable clubs so it makes no difference. I want us to beat Chelsea and finish top half.

I thought they were as bad as each other. Neither was great but I thought it was more embarassing to sign a player that even Man City didn't want and all their fans hated simply because we were desperate and had fucked up the transfer window so badly.

At the time I have to say I thought signing Sibierski was more embarassing than loaning Rossi.

I can think of more humiliating moments...like the Sporting Lisbon collapse. A case of "oh we only need to not conceed three goals now" and conceed four instead.

He can play left wing by all accounts and since they have no-one else who can I imagine that's where he'll play. New GK Hutton - King - Woodgate - Bale Lennon(?) - Jenas - New CM - Modric Berbatov - Keane Can see them finishing in the top 6 easily Sad thing is I think at least 5 of those would walk into our first team.

Possibly but it isn't like every player new to the Premier League hits the ground running. For example, look at all the quality European players the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool have bought who haven't performed. There are no guarantees. I'd rather they signed someone who's proven s***...like oh I don't know...Damien Duff .

and 2 centrebacks... and a goalkeeper. Woodgate and King are quality. Yes they're injury prone but one will normally be available when the other isn't and both can carry their defence on their own (as Woodgate did ours when he was here).
