Howe is a no excitement appointment. Will probably keep us up which is the main goal this season but I can't imagine him signing great players.

I can't see that. When Bruce was at various different clubs it was always obvious he was a shit manager. It's more that fans of other clubs have such a low opinion of our club that they think we deserve shitty managers like Pardew, Bruce etc and that it's an impossible job.

It's a reflex thing people say when criticising someone's ability. It's true in his case that he's awful at his job and an awful person.
