We don't want to turn in to Liverpool fans trying to defend him against this. It was obvious what would happen the minute he tweeted that. If he gets an 8 game ban (using Suarez as a comparison) that will be 11 games missed through suspension this season (and even more through injury). Time to finally get rid of him.

The club needs to have his twitter deleted regardless of the outcome. Maybe even lock him in a cupboard when he's not training/playing/getting his usual injury treatment.

The league is wide open for teams outside the top 6 this season if they can show a bit of consistency. The ones who make better use of their resources are more likely to finish closer to the top 6, so Southampton will probably be one of them. We could finish anywhere from 9th to 15th IMO. southampton haven't had the most difficuilt of starts. gets more difficuilt for them now looking at their upcoming fixtures. I'll be impressed if they are still top 4 come fa cup 3rd day. They've played 11 of 19 opponents, including two of the 'top six'. Only lost once and won six. Yep and i dont understand it. Financially maybe (as Ashley doesn't want to spend) but who wants to just watch their team finish 10th-12th year in year out. Ashley is one weird wanker. As long as he can advertise SD in the Premier League for free then it's job done.
