If he's running in February theres a good chance he'll play before the end of the season, might only be the last few games but you never know. He'll only be back at the level we know next season, but its more pessimistic than realistic to say he won't be back at all. Theres about another 3 months of the season left remember.

Very hard to say 11 years in advance. In 1996 who would have known SJP would be massive, Arsenal a new ground etc.

Dyer is a pain in the arse isn't he? Where the fuck does he fit in any team?
-
Babayaro wanted to play though, and actualy played quite well.

If its just you and you're willing to sit anywhere you'll be able to get one. The problems arise when people request, say, 3 tickets together in the Gallowgate.

I thought it was a clear dive tbh, not seen an angle yet to prove me otherwise.
-
Thought he played well, although the usual critics - who I agree with on many counts - won't hold their hands up and say he did well.

But you have... With Deportive,Mallorca yes.. Here,no,rarley got a chance to see Luque himself play tbh He's shown the technique of a corpse at NUFC.

But you have...

This formation will be class I really want to see the Luque-Martins partnership,Martins got the pace while Luque got the technique,i think they will work well toghther,But its most likely to see Sibreski and Luque playing side by side, wich will be a really bad thing for us.. What technique is this?

DYER??? Please tell me you're joking. I'm not going to have to explain myself all over again am I? No-one's buying it, thats why.

I think that only you and Kieron Dyer himself would include him in a World XI. Name another player who is better than Dyer at rapidly carrying the ball between the midfield and attack through the centre of the pitch. He 'rapidly' carries it, but then loses it with a shit pass or by running into trouble like he normally does. With the exceptions of martins (and Solano who can't keep up) there is no-one capable of making space to receive a pass. In the team I've named, there would be. I was basing my view on Dyer on the last 8 years at the club, not just who he plays with this season. I aren't having a go on purpose mate, I just think its baffling how you can put Dyer in a world XI!

He said "big boys" meaning the big clubs that consistently finish above us, not a couple of clubs that have done it once or twice in 15 years. ^-^ We are the 6th best team in England ever when looking at all-time top-flight point haul. That means that as we have come an average of 8th/9th under Shepherd, that would say that his chairmanship has been below average. I think you're confused again.... Where exactly am I confused? Our average position under Shepherd has been 8.5th, while we feature at 6th place in the all-time top-flight league table. That means that Shepherd has been a below average Newcastle chairman. Why is he below average? Because we had a couple of good seasons 10 years ago, and we haven't lived up to it?

Agree 100% with the mackem thing, its shit when they're in Division 1 and we play them every few years.

I don't it at West Ham. Tevez might not have fully settled in yet, but he's looking good in games without scoring. Surely a 2 time South American Footballer of the Year is a better bet than Bobby Zamora?!

£5m for Reo-Coker? Fucks sake.

Who got MOM on the tannoy? Couldn't really make it out.
-
Thought he did ok today like, fair play for playing.
-
He played well today like, the whole defence started a bit shaky in the first 10 minutes but he really came on and was totally solid in 2nd half.
-
Quality result, chuffed to bits. Seeing my 'scouse' flatmate lost for words is brilliant! Thought it was a dive tbh for the penalty. Gooch looked good, really strong and some good clearing headers. Taylor had a good game at RB too.

Lennon is as much of a headless chicken on the wing as Wright-Phillips and Dyer would be. Excellent at running with pace, but his end product is nothingless. Obviously he's only very young and will hopefully improve, but at the minute he shouldn't be on the right. Gerrard is the best right sided midfielder in the country.
