  1. Aye, when he can be bothered! Good fucking riddance.
  2. Is it National Mong Day or something? Oh it's so cool to be PC. You fucking lily livered liberals get on my tits!!! I'd love to just give Dire a little back hander, around his mush not into his sky, just before he drives out of Toon forever.
  3. Lack of end product, failed to fulfill potential, shows a lack of respect for the club and the supporters, a chav and a waster!!! Take West Ham's money and kick his arse out of the club and out of the City!!!
  4. Its a occupational hazard. Being a footballer means much more than kicking a ball about, something Dyer in ten years here hasn't learned, well maybe he did, just took him years to figure it out. I'm sure for the millions he's earned for nothing i'd take a few eggs But it wouldn't happen to me, as fans would never have a problem with me, i'd respect the club paying my £80kpw far too much to fuk them about. End of the day, his past has caught up with him SLIGHTLY, and if that's all that ever happens to him he's got off lightly. I'm not condoning any of it, but can understand why someone would want to abuse him before he left. I have to agree, while not condoning what happened and agreeing with Mort in a way that this is not the right type of image we want when trying to lure players here, we also have to take a step back and be a bit sensible about this. Ok his house got pelted with some eggs - it shouldn't have happened, but no one was killed, maimed, decapitated, caught the plague ect. Some people have very short memories when it comes to Dyer, not so long ago he was dragging our clubs name through the dirt with his handbags crap with Bowyer. Everyone wanted to lynch Bowyer, but Dyer seems to have been conveniently forgiven. What about his part in Bobby Robsons departure, yes the details are open to debate but he definitely didn't help matters. Plus there's all his off field shanahans, like getting his cock out, burning money in front of fans' faces, home movie debut ect. Like it has been said before, if this is SO distressing for poor old Dyer, why hasn't he handed in a TRANSFER REQUEST? Why? because it's got fuk all to do about his family, it's all about him and his agent getting one last big payday. To think of all the money that the club's spent on sending him all around the world getting the best doctors to try and sort out his career (not to mention his 60k-80k a WEEK wages). Think of all the games (about 90%) he's played when he looks like he doesn't give a shit (apart form sunday when he was in the shop window, funny that isn't it?), and what does he do when it at last looks like he might be clear of his injuries? He want's out. And to think of all the people who were calling for Owen to be sold and criticising him for the amount of games he's played for us. At least when he's played he's done the business for us. Ramage get's slated everytime he plays, fair enough he's not good enough but at least he's honest and tries. Dyer HAS the talent, but just uses it when he feels like it and that is worse than any of the others. I do think that out squad is dangerously thin and I thought that we should keep dyer to make up the numbers, but the more I think about it I would rather have Harper playing than him (ok, slight eggageration). Seriously though this parasite has bled us dry for 8 years and I think now, enough is enough. Bye, bye. Dyer is about as responsible for the incident with Bowyer as he is for having some cretins chuck eggs at his house tbh. What the fuck are "off field shanahans" btw? People have wanted him out of the club FOR YEARS. Now he finally acquiesces and admits he wants to leave and we get "Eh? But what about all the money we've spend on medical fees, you ungrateful bastard?" He can't fucking win. As for Dyer's performances, I think it's pretty clear that for the vast majority of his time here he's been playing injured. Even when he was brought back into the team, he was never fully fit. It's only last season that we finally had him at a decent level of fitness for a prolonged period, but by then the damage was done and people have made their mind up to despise him. And he's been nowhere near as bad as people try to make out when he has played. Not even close. I think it's a shame he's leaving because he can be a good player for us, but I totally understand him wanting to go. Especially in light of recent incidents and the fact that he must know that trying to win the fans back over is a pointless exercise. Now you've gone to the other extreme totally absolving Dire from any wrong doing and portraying him as the victim. Total Bollocks!!! The final final straw for me was the way Dire played for the rest of the season following the AZ Alkmaar defeat. He couldn't be arsed to pick his feet up and virtually said that would be the case when he was interviewed following the defeat in Holland. He's a fucking waster who has had far too many chances here. If West Ham have offered £5million as reported, I'd be more than happy to take that and kick him out of the door.
  5. Someone should start a thread trying to predict what bollocks Anal Oliver will write for the following nights Chronicle. He'll probably print as fact the one's that will unsettle players and do most damage to the club. Oliver really is a total prick!
  6. I think we better get used to the bullshit reporting of NUFC under the new regime. FFS used to conduct business under the full glare of the SSN cameras. Those days are gone and we'll only hear what's happened when it's happened. This situation leaves the journos to make up this bollocks to fill a couple of pages with sports "news" on no news days.
  7. Been watching the golf all weekend and just logged on to get the latest news and this hits me between the eyes!We are fucking cursed and Ashley should invest some of his money getting the club exorcised asap. What a pisser!!!

    Club Captain

What total shite! Are you saying that John Terry, Tony Adams, Roy Keane etc were/are not key driving forces behind their club's success as captains? If you get the right captain it can make a hell of a difference to the dynamics of the team and the club. I was initially dismayed by the signing of Barton, but he's done nothing but impress me with the way he's conducted himself so far, and I know it's early days, but he'd be my choice for captain at this stage.
  9. Sam's going to talk Luque up because he knows it's the best way to preserve any value he's still got in the transfer market, unlike Souness with Bellamy and Roeder with Luque when their loose mouths cost the club millions in potential transfer money. If Sam can extract any desire to perform for the toon from Luque it'll prove that his man management skills are up there with the best in the game, but I fear he'll be fighting a losing battle with this waster.
  10. Why the fuck wasn't Luque in Austria with the rest of the squad? He could have gotten married weeks ago in his own fucking time the fucking waster!!! The sooner he's out of the club the better!!! And let's not buy any more Spanish wasters!!!
  11. I particularly like a quote in the Chronicle that he feels part of his job is to "guide the chairman". Sam's such a big personality, and FFS is in such a vulnerable position, that he will have to take Sam's advice which can only be good for the club. Hopefully a wage structure and attracting players who want to play for the club will be a large part of that advice.
  12. Is that from the Souness School of Management??? Wullie's right, the club is in a mess and it will be by far the biggest challenge of Sam's career. I just hope he's up to it, if not we are in serious trouble.
  13. So what would be your strategy to break the mould? How would you go about building solid foundations? First, I would stop signing players that only come here because of our ability/willingness to offer them wages far in excess of market rate. We don't have a wage structure at NUFC. Look at the Owen deal, we got him here because we offered him astronomical wages and because (as is becoming increasingly evident), we put a clause in his contract that actually allowed him to leave FOR LESS than we paid for him. Stop for a second and think about that. We were basically acknowledging two things by doing that: firstly that we weren't an attractive option to Michael Owen as we were giving him an escape route out of the club that no player willing to come here would get in their contract. Secondly, and perhaps more damning, we were acknowledging that we had paid far in excess of his market value to get him to come here. We offered Scott Parker crazy money to get him here, we offered Damien Duff crazy money to get him here, we gave a crocked Kieron Dyer crazy money to get him to stay. Steve Sidwell is arguably better off at Reading than he would be here, but it looks to me like we've turned the lad's head, no doubt by talking about wages a good £15k in excess of his market value. Does this sound like a way of establishing the club of motivated winners that you're looking for? Doesn't sound like it to me. And yet this is what we have established ourselves as. We can't even shift some of the s**** in our squad because we're paying them far in excess of what they're worth and they know they're onto a cushy number here. You can talk about huge resources and being starved of success, but it's our misuse of those huge resources by our moron chairman which is making life far too easy for the players at the club. The top and bottom of it is this: Players don't come to Newcastle United to win things. They come to get paid. The best post I've read on here in a very long time. You're spot on with your analysis of why we won't fulfill our potential whilst FFS is at the helm. At least we'll not be seeing Sven on Tyneside after FFS's comment that the 51% figure quoted by Sven's agent related to the number of lads who'd like to see Nancy on the Quayside. It certainly made me laugh.
  14. Fuck Kieron Dire straight out of the club. He's had far too many chances and now's the time to get rid! His attitude since the defeat by AZ has been a disgrace, he said following that game that the season was over and he certainly played like that in the subsequent games. Why Roeder made him captain is a mystery to me because Dire's not fit to wear the shirt never mind wear the captain's armband.
  15. agree, very good post. It fucks me off reading some of the s*** on here though, f****** kids who seem to take pleasure out of these circumstances. I'm sure anyone who remembers glenn as a player, or is aware that he should never have been given the job, won't be dishing out the s**** i've been reading. this club is a circus, with a load of stripey f****** clowns supporting it. I totally agree. The club is a total shambles and it was too big a job for Roeder but he always had the best interests of the club at heart. Good luck in the future Glen. Now who's going to be the next lunatic to take over the asylum???
  16. The impatience of the crowd makes it very difficult for a promising young player to gain the confidence to show his best form, so we may as well dismantle the academy because we are never going to produce players that look the finished article on debut for the first team. We can then use the money we'll save to buy squad players as and when required.
  17. quite possibly the biggest drivel you have ever posted and thats saying something That's rich coming as it does from the drivel meister himself!!!
  18. Well done the Daily Mail, printing fiction as fact.
  19. Well it's only me and Keegan who remember then! bluewink.gif
  20. Ferguson is only praising our efforts because he no longer sees us as any sort of a threat. He's still the most ungracious man in sport and his knighthood is a disgrace. The pricks on here who would like to see him as our manager have very short memories or are less than 10 years old!
  21. Based on recent performances without him, Parker should not have started last night but, because Parker's his captain, Roeder bottled the decision to leave him out. Your paragraph that I've highlighted seems to agree with this view, why do you then go on to say "My only complaint last night was maybe Milner should have been rested."? IMO the job's too big for Roeder and, if he continues to avoid making the big decisions, it's only a matter of time before he's down the jobcentre.
  22. Parker can't play the defensive role. Or the playmaker role. But never mind......perhaps Roeder hasn't thought of massaging his ego yet, despite doing it for Emre. Your usual negative bullshit. Your standards have gone into orbit if you think Parker is not good enough for us. He's a current England international, he was the main man for Charlton in the Premiership for several seasons, Mourinho spent millions getting him to Chelski, but all this means nothing because HTL has pronounced that he's just not good enough for us. The lads still a good player, I just think that the management aren't managing him correctly.
  23. Play Parker or Butt as the defensive midfielder but not both, and make sure Parker knows that Emre is our midfield playmaker. Emre was just hitting top form and I think it was down to Roeder massaging the Turks ego by telling him that he was the man to pull the strings in midfield. Now Parker's back Emre seems to have taken a step backwards.
  24. I totally agree. We would have caused Chelski more problems had Sibierski played. We badly needed him to hold up play and allow the midfield to bomb on. Parker should not have started but I can understand Roeder's dilemma, his captain wanted to play against his previous club. Unfortunately Roeder bottled making the right decision.
