There are plenty of players who, at the age of 20 or earlier, are regularly playing first team football for top european teams. If he was going to be anything other than average he'd have shown it by now. I've no doubt his touch, movement, passing and intelligence will improve but not enough to make him even close to premier league standard
-
Williamson again!! What a joke of a player this guy is.
-
Should not be playing first team football above League One standard. Total fucking donkey!!
-
Thoroughly outclassed, outplayed and out-thought by a Championship club once again. Still no away win and absolutely zero chance of a comeback. Fuck off Pardew you talentless clown!
-
Time to go. It's not just the results, it's the fact that we don't even look capable of winning a game. We've had bad luck with injuries this season, granted, but even before the players got injured we looked a fucking shambles. Enough is enough!
-
5 days a week spent on defensive positioning?! Really?! We're a shambles defensively and show no sign of improving. Clearly whatever Pardew is trying to do is not working. Also, the mere fact that the team shape is dictated by how the opposition play puts Pardew in the same pile as Allardyce and other footballing dinosaurs. I've been saying it for ages but I'll say it again - we should be working on a very definite way of playing, a style of football that plays to our strengths and is coached constantly, and then we go out to impose our game on the opposition. This is the way modern managers approach the game. The longer this season goes on, the more last season looks like a fluke.

Sorry mate but I don't buy that at all. Why would they be any more tired than any other premier league team? If its a problem with fitness then that needs to be addressed by club staff but I don't buy the idea that they're dead on their feet. We're losing games because of tactics, lack of ideas and perhaps the loss of certain key creative players.
-
If that performance was the result of Pardew's meticulous tactical planning, we are totally fucked!!
-
Time to go pal. Enough's enough!
-
I actually hate this guy now. Cannot wait for him to piss off to the ACON. Total fucking liability!!
-
We are proper relegation fodder now - can't defend for shit!
-
Here's an idea - stop giving away daft freekicks in our own fucking half. Dick heads!!
-
It's been denied. Why are you all still talking about it?

He's certainly lacking of confidence now, and I doubt he'll suddenly get it back only cause he's back to central. And the huge pressure he'll have to bear now won't help him either. I think it will mostly depend on his personality and how well he'll be able to cope with all these things. I've no doubt Cisse will rediscover his goalscoring touch. He and Ba were moving into the same spaces a lot when they played up top together which didn't help his situation. Following that he was stuck out on the right hand side. I reckon he'll be buoyed by the news that Ba is going because he can be the main man again, and I reckon he'll start by scoring tonight.
-
Normally i'd agree with you but given how close we are to the relegation places I doubt even Mike and Desmond Dekka would be stupid enough to fuck around this time
-
Always shit to lose a proven goalscorer but the circus surrounding him had become disruptive and his insistence on playing centrally upset the balance of what was, last season, a very effective team. I've no doubt Cisse can rediscover his scoring touch when playing centrally and if (and it's a big IF) we can sign a decent quality replacement we might actually come out of this transfer window in a stronger position. Over to you Dekka & Mike, please don't fuck this up!
-
According to Sky Sports news Chelsea have said they are unlikely to sign Ba after unproductive talks.
-
I'm pretty much with you on that but if Pardew is to be believed then he's partly responsible for having only shit defenders at his disposal. If we don't sign a RB and at least one CB next month then any last ounce of faith I have in him or the board will evaporate.
-
I'm more confident about our ability to win games after the last couple of performances. Yes we shipped a bucketload of goals today but we actually dominated possession in the first half and looked dangerous. I can't see many teams outside the top 6 being able to live with us if we keep playing like that. Still hanging on to my last thread of optimism
-
2 points worse off at the same stage as the seaon we went down. We're definitely playing better than that season but we can't defend for shit

Another Man United fand here, and seething myself after seeing your snivelling post pixel. You don't speak for most other United fans so apologize by all means but don't make up rubbish like all Man United fans aren't with Fergie on this. If you care to go onto Red Issue (Man United forum) for example you'll see most fans on there are applauding Fergie for giving it back to Pardew after his hypoctrical comments about referees. I think the point Fergie was making was that if it was a manager of a different club with a smaller profile (Newcastle, Sunderland or whoever) then there wouldn't be all the national mock outrage and days and days of talking hypocritical s**** about it on the radio, in the papers etc. You're not disappointed that your 70-odd year old manager isn't big enough to use more respectful language than "wee club in the North East" about a proper football club with good fans like ourselves? Fair enough. Adds up with my view of a lot of Man Utd fans tbh, that they're essentially arrogant tossers not worth getting in a conversation with. Am I disappointed in his press conference? No, not at all. I found it amusing in the knowledge that it would wind you all up. I'm happy that he is sticking up for himself after a couple of days of over the top United/Fergie bashing in the press. Pardew had no need to stick his size 9's into it in the first place really and Fergie is obviously not happy about that, it is over the top having a pop at your whole club but I found it funny rather than disappointing. If it was someone calling Sunderland a small club you'd all be pissing yourselves. I was disappointed in his rant at the match though. Having said that while at the game it appeared to us in the Stretford End that the goal had been disallowed and then the ref changed his mind after your players had a go at the linesman. I honestly believe the goal should never have been given but than I guess I have my red tinted specs on. Really?! Over the top?! You only think it's over the top because he very rarely (if ever) gets held to account for his constant undermining of officials. One little comment from a fellow manager about this incident and look at the way he responds - with all the arrogance and spite that Man Utd have become synonymous with (outside your own little circles of course).
-
This whole situation is laughable! Ferguson and ManUre have been untouchable for years. Whether it be incidents like this or Rooney assaulting a player off the ball and the referee and FA turning a blind eye to it, it's pretty clear that the Premier League is not a level playing field. I have zero respect for Fergie and I haven't had for a long time - doesn't matter what he's achieved as far as i'm concerned because as a man and a role model, he's a disgrace.

Is this missing a safety wink or are you really saying the Chelsea and Tottenham scouting network consists of reading the newspapers to find out what Newcastle United is up to and then moving for our targets? who metioned papers Im saying If you go public on your targets, other clubs can hijack your moves. Which is probably why we're not really in for him.
