Comfortable I think. No mistakes mentioned which is good news
  3. Now I know we should never celebrate another injury but that is nothing but great news for the club
  4. Just seen replays actually show that Nolan pushed Ramage over sending him headering the ball passed Pav. 1st goal not Ramage's fault afterall?
  5. He has been playing well this season but today he had a shite game! Was at fault for both goals. Headed it past Pav for the first and didn't do enough to stop Anelka scoring the winner. Then when we needed the ball up attack he kept skying balls into the air and out for Bolton throw ins under no pressure.
  6. Unless Dyer's injured. Century said he looked uncomfortable when he was taken off.
  7. Can anyone back this up? Just interested to see how he did... Couldn't really comment. I don't think he had a bad game, it was more the fact the back four were poor today especially Ramage. Very young and very inexperienced defence was not what he needed for his first start.

  9. Good luck to the back 4. Young, talented, academy lineup, let's see what they can do

Magpies: Srnicek, Sibierski, Taylor, Ramage, Huntington, Dyer, Butt, Parker, Milner, Edgar, Martins. Subs: Emre, Luque, Pattison, Rossi, Krul Srnicek Huntington Taylor Ramage Edgar Dyer Butt Parker Milner Sibierski Martins or Srnicek Huntington Taylor Ramage Edgar Milner Butt Parker Dyer Sibierski Martins
  11. Did I hear right on the radio? Has Edgar made the starting lineup?
  12. and to think I wanted Thread Moderation reinstalled, where would we get our laughs from?
  13. The stats of the last few games are pretty decent. Played: 16 Won: 8 Drew: 5 Lost: 3 Scored: 21 Conceded: 12 Goal Difference: +9 League Position: 11th Let's just hope it continues and then I'll be happy with what Roeder's doing The January Transfer Window will determine Roeder's future IMO
  14. I'm suprised nobody's mentioned that he's arguably infront of the goalkeeper which also makes him offside. You need to be level with the 2nd last opponent so if the defender off the field of play is active, he could still be offside even if it is by an inch or two.
  15. But if you want to say that, then he shouldntve been allowed back on to the pitch, which he was. West ham/fulham wasnt red but was foul/yellow Think barton's was harsh That was the way I saw it too... seeing as Carvalho came outside the "playing area" because of his own momentum he should still count as an active player, therefore covering and making Heskey onside. This, what seems to be popular interpretation of the rule where the instant you step outside of the white line, you don't count anymore should be bollocks, and was proved to be for this goal. If you step off the field of play, deliberately or if your momentum carries you there, you instantly become inactive. Whether the rule's stupid or not (which it is), it's the rule we have to follow. Heskey was offside therefore and the goal should have been disallowed. Simple as really.
  16. and he was doing so well in his interview up to that point.
  17. Probably, posting anything to do with football seems to be these days
