Perhaps Big Sam is just waiting to complete his other signings and Rozehnal will be introduced together with the other 5/6 next week. That will be awesome.

He probably caught a glimpse of his mate's fiance.

We need to sort our defence before we can challenge for the top 5, at the very minimum we need a centre back and left back. Hopefully Big Sam would have it sorted by the start of the season. I can't envisage ourselves starting with Babayaro and Ramage come August, not with Big Sam.

I voted for Steven Taylor as he's the most viable one among the current squad. But I do have my misgivings as he is still too young and inexperienced.

Barring any serious injury crisis to next season we should be able to hit top 7 minimum with the current squad (assuming we don't sell). Add depth and a couple of top signings hopefully with Ashley's money we can challenge Spurs for top 5. But what Big Sam said about changing the structure of the club, to look to the long term is something that has got me excited.

For free I'd imagine Tuncay would be a worthwhile signing.
