  1. Just read that referee Farai Hallam is making his debut in the premier League today at Man City v Wolves, was sent to the screen for a possible City penalty but decided to stick with his original decision and went against the 'experienced' referee Not seen it but think that's class
  2. Aye but if you watch it, Soucek is shoved when he is in midair by a Sunderland defender and that's the only reason he goes into the goalkeeper as he has no control of his body.
  3. Tottenham should be looking over their shoulder and be getting a little twitchy. Although they have Burnley today, defeat there and alarm bells should be ringing
  4. West Ham 2-1 Sunderland Burnley 0-2 Spurs Fulham 1-1 Brighton Man City 3-0 Wolves Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool Brentford 3-1 Forest Palace 0-2 Chelsea Newcastle 2-1 Villa Arsenal 1-0 Man United Everton 1-1 Leeds
  5. Think lowest we can mathematically finish from looking is 15th? Galatasaray are 17th and can't catch us really (bar 10 goal swing) and two teams between us and them play each other in Dortmund v Inter so both cant overtake
  6. Great shout, remember them both doing the England v Argentina game at France 98. Fucking miles better than the utter dirge on sky these days. Got incredibly pissed off when Neville started screaming when Mbuemo scored yesterday and I wasn't bothered about who won either. Had Carragher doing it at nearly every Liverpool game too. Just not good enough for a channel that should be impartial
  7. Rounds out a thoroughly miserable weekend football wise, also needed Newcastle to win for £300 Well played 👍
  8. Just saw the penalty Liverpool got yesterday, wtf
  9. I tell you one thing I am really looking forward to - Guardiola to let rip about the Dalot tackle on Doku after 10 minutes which should have been a red card. He's already raging with VAR after the shambles on Tuesday, I think he could snap
  10. Horrendous defending by Rico Lewis, 600m in last 6 months and this fraud is still their right back
  11. Fantastic goal spoilt by Neville screaming on commentary when it went in. Sound like a broken record but sky need to sort this shit out like with him and Carragher doing their own games and screaming when they score. Supposed to be impartial ffs
  12. Neville - It's really tight this Is it fuck you miserable whopper, he's clearly offside even with the naked eye. More bias from fan commentators
  13. Man United 1-3 Man City Chelsea 2-1 Brentford Leeds 2-1 Fulham Liverpool 2-0 Burnley Spurs 2-1 West Ham Sunderland 1-0 Palace Forest 0-2 Arsenal Wolves 2-3 Newcastle Villa 2-0 Everton Brighton 2-1 Bournemouth
  14. Man City at home to Swindon man , this after putting ten past Exeter last round. Sure they put eight past Salford at home last season too. Unbelievable how spawny them and Chelsea are in draws
  15. True Faith used to be really good but I find it really difficult to listen to these days especially when that lass is on (which seems to be every episode now) she offers very little in terms of game analysis. Hurst speaks very well but has definitely become a bit negative recently too. I find him alright though as he definitely understands what's happening in the game tactically and explains it well. Point made on this episode that annoyed me was that we should have focused more on City and Wolves games. I mean we've got through in the cup and the idea that we write Bournemouth off automatically means we win the other two is just ridiculous. I'm delighted we got through yesterday, get a favourable draw and this is another big opportunity As others have said GallowgateShots is by far the best podcast out there. I also like Musgrove on the chronicle podcast especially when he's with Gibbo or that Sam Milliner. There's a new lad on there Mark Carruthers I think? He seems decent too but too early to tell
  16. Macclesfield below Spennymoor Town for context. Incredible result if they see it through
  17. Unfortunately that goal will forever be the one they show because of the state of the pitch, it being a 40 yard screamer in the top corner and fans running on the pitch etc. Probably the greatest FA cup goal in history
  18. Just seen Richard Keys 'tribute' to Terry Yorath on X - makes it all about himself unsurprisingly, what a wanker Some of the comments man
  19. I had actually picked Man Utd for a couple of days but changed it when Amorim got sacked. Bit turmoil but should still beat Burnley like, probably should have stuck with them no doubt will regret it tomorrow
  20. Some bloke on twitter said it's been a rule all season and that we benefitted from it with Barnes goal against Man City. Funny how it's only mentioned when Liverpool score a dodgy as fuck goal though
  21. Just seen Wirtz equaliser against Fulham and it's 100% offside if you look at the line on the grass. Now I've heardthere’s a 5cm tolerance level or benefit of the doubt which I've never heard of before until now thought it was no tolerance. Of course it's Liverpool who benefits 🙄
  22. You put that up as we were about to take a corner and I've got it live on sky, how?!
  23. Ref taking the easy option to say retake corner rather than a stonewall penalty
